She's getting spayed today. I did a little better than when I took Kula in to get neutered...didn't cry until I left the vet's office this time. The vet is supposed to call as soon as surgery is done. I've made all my phone calls and steam cleaned the family room carpet...now I'm just waiting and missing my girl. Kula doesn't quite know what to do with himself. He won't eat and just keep going in and out the back door like he thinks she'll be on the other side. We will both be very, very happy when she comes home.
I know it's really not that big of a deal, but I worry. I hate the thought of her waking up and having no one that loves her there... It's going to be a very long day....
Oh, I'm so sorry. I hate taking mine in for surgery's too. Hopefully they'll call soon. Everything's going to be fine but I know you'll worry until they call.

The vet just called and said Marley did really well, and is starting to lift her head. She should be ready to come home around 4:30 this afternoon...I'm glad it's over, but wish she was home!!
its hard for us momma's to not worry about our babies when they go through any surgery, even minor ones. glad to see that she came through fine. she will be up and about in no time and glad to be back home . she's a little doll !
She's home, and sleeping like a baby. The vet said everything went well, they just want to make sure I get her up to walk here and there. She's wanting to just stay asleep, but we need to get all of the meds worked through her system.
Kula was thrilled to see her walk through the door, but he's mopey again because she won't play. He'll be so happy to see her back to normal!
