Momma cat is getting big! PICS!

I tried posting pics of her yesterday but I kept getting an error message. Anyone else have that problem yesterday?

Anyways Momma is getting so big, I still have no idea how long it will be but everyone who has seen pics of her now thinks it will be any day now. I moved my comforter and pillows into the room she is in and made myself a bed in there so I can sleep with her and keep an eye on her, she absolutly loves all the attention, she slept with me all night.

I need to cut her nails, however since she is so close to her due date I also dont want to stress her out, I havnt clipped her nails yet ever, and im worried she could accidentially hurt the kittens with them. What do you guys think?Should I try cutting them or leave it alone?

I took some pics of Momma yesterday. I was hoping maybe someone who has had or seen a pregnant cat before could tell me about how much time there is. I know there is no way to tell for sure till she has them, but im wondering if I have days or weeks of waiting left. She looks so big, especially in these pictures, but I think she looks so big cause she is bending down to eat. Sometimes she looks huge and others she still looks big but just not as big.

Heres Momma....

Looks like you better start boiling water LOL!  She is big but I have no words of wisdom since I have never had a pregnant cat only a dog that needed a C-Section.  For my indoor cats I use an emery board and just file their nails down which doesn't seem to stress them as much as the clippers.  I do the same thing with my dogs, they seem to not mind that as much plus I never worry about cutting them to close.  Just an idea.

She is a beautiful cat and I wish you luck when the time arrives.

It is more likely that she will eat them, than scratch them, I would leave her feet alone. Just make sure she has no fleas, the fleas will kill the babies.

Thank you!
Can you put Frontline on a pregnant cat?

I would treat the enviornment, first, and then worry about the cat.
My dogs have no parasites, but, once a year, I spray Zodiac Premise spray in the house and yard, and, if I had to do the animal, would see what could be used there.
I believe Zodiac can be used on cats.

Wow! That is one preggo kitty! Lol. I'm not good at kitty advice either since I have never even been around a preggo kitty before. I've heard though that cats are so funny about where they have their kittens. Usually it's no where even close to where you would think. I've also heard that they are really good about letting people help and most make wonderful mums. So I hope that's the case with your kitty. Can't wait to see pics of the little ones, kittens are the most adoreable baby animals I think :)

I might be of some help...  I have had an all white one ( snowball) have 3 litters and my cat that looks just like yours (Tiger) had 4 litters....  She looks like she could drop any day now...  Just keep a close eye on her and every now and then feel her tummy...  Thats an easy way to tell when shes about to go into labor..  It will get hard when shes having a contraction and she will not want to be around anyone..  She may try to go into hiding so be careful..  Snowball had one of her litters on my bed well we were outside...  Most of the time they will do it in a dark quiet area...  We put them in a cage when they started to act waird at night because we didnt want them having them and us not being able to find them...  Are's always waited till night to have them so no one was around so she might do that also...  GL and keep us updated.

I put mine in a cage, once. There were only the feet of the babies available the next day.
Best give them some space, and privacy...like rabbits.

Thanks so much guys!
I think she has started nesting. In her room there is a large dog crate with no door, 4 days ago i put newspaper and a blanket neatly in there and started putting her food in there. Well she would never go in there except to eat BUT this morning when I went to feed her I noticed the blanket had been moved around covering the whole crate. Jason said lastnight she wouldnt stop meowing. I slept with her the two nights before and she didnt meow at all unless I went to leave.

I also felt her tummy yesterday and I could feel the outline of a baby, I could also feel them move a little. This is so neat! Im getting nervous though, but Im excited at the same time.

Also yesterday when I went to work I found out that a co workers friend had droppped off a mom and her 5 1 week old kittens. One of my other co workers is going to take them but she cant for a couple days. We were keeping them in our grooming room cause it is the only germ free space available, but it was super loud in there. So I took the mom and babies home for a couple days. They are in my bathroom. This mom is super sweet too, she has one kitten that is grey and it has this random patch of bright red on the top of its head, its so cute, I called him Flame. I'll try and post pics soon.
