Remember the Pitt owners next door? They are the ones who we suspect shot Napster. Well anyway, they had a female who had 8 puppies about 2 months ago. They were bragging about how the puppies would bring $2000 each and stuff......and then bragging about how the mama dog had already killed 4 other dogs....saying she snaps their necks. Made me feel really great about having my kids and pets live next door to these BYB's.
Anyway, they sold 4 of the puppies for $400 each and now say that they are taking the other 4 to the pound because they can't get rid of them. Isn't that great? Breed them for money then when you can't get money out of them...take them off to be killed.
Stupid people like that don't need ANY dog, let alone THAT breed. As bad as I hate to say this, it will probably be better that the pups are put down because God only knows what kind of temperament they have....and they were being sold to anyone who had a dollar. BUT, the fact is...they should have never even been born.
And guess what? Once these are gone...they are already planning to breed the mama again. Ain't that smart?
God bless you. Well, I can attest to the fact, that after the magic number of 1/2 the pups sell, the others are dang nigh impossible. Do ya 'spose it is because my phone is off the hook on weekends? Hee... My neighbors don't maybe notice so much. I have cute, chunky Labradors. They don't eat anything but rag tugs....much less the neighbor's beasties.
I want big bucks, too. I spent $500. this week on dogs...money gotta come from somewhere. I can't see folks paying anything for Pits, though. The pounds out here are chock full of them, Rotts, Germans, and Chows, too. They call any of them that are yellow or black a Lab/mix hoping to get someone to take it. A guy I work with got a little white dog from humane this week. He proudly declared that it was a cocker spaniel, to which I replied oh, that's nice, they are very good dogs. Did not look like any breed of dog I'd ever seen, but then I'm too much of a purist for fantasy...
