Me and Brad recently remodeled our bedroom. Let me tell you..it was freaking ugly. But our house is 80 years old and it needed it. But anyways we gutted the room down to the skelton of the house and re-sheetrocked everything...including the ceiling. It was a 2 week job but we got it done. I will never want to sheetrock again. It was awful...here are some before and after pics.
The room with the awful built-ins and ugly paneling....the blue was so gross.
Here is the room gutted to the bones. Our house was built with solid wood.... We found cloth wallpaper that had been nailed to the wall.
And here is the after. We installed the sheetrock, new ceiling fan, crown molding, and pergo flooring.
Wow, it looks so tight and clean, now. You must be really happy. My dad was telling me about insisting that a house be sheetrocked before I buy it, I did not know what he meant. Thanks for giving me a better idea of what he was talking about this week.
