The tear smiley is tears of happiness! He was taken to his new home on Saturday. He walked in like he had been there forever. They have a HUGE yard, they have owned chows before and recently had to put their girl down due to spinal problems. They said he is just what they were hoping he would be. Harley is getting his eyes fixed this week or next. He will then live the life of luxery. While I know many people disagreed with me adopting him to find him a home, I have the comfort of knowing that he is with a chow savvy family and he has the safety of chow rescue behind him if things do not work out(but I have a great feeling they will). The shelter does first come first serve and he could have ended up in some pretty horrible hands, but I know that he is doing great and the family said that they would send me lots of updates and even said we could come visit them and bring Chi-Ching to play. I could not have picked out a better family for him. Anyway, here are pictures of him looking out his new front door, him smiling, and him sitting next to his new mama and his new sister(the dad was at work)..........Enjoy!!
Thanks!! He was about 45 pounds and around knee heighth. He is definitely a great dog. Chingers has actually learned from him and has settled down alot. He doesn't bark at everything anymore, where Harley only barked 3 times while we had him.
