Gotcha! thanks for the heads up.
Plenty of rodents hereabouts, since the feral cats were done away with by the "Hollywood Do-Gooders"[OMG, they're breeding, get them to the pound]. Never used to see a rat, but now the feral cats are gone, and rats run everywhere in So Cal.
Can't have them unlicensed, evil kitties just running about on their own, you know, must lock them up in shelters and killem...
We are renovating the restaurant, to make sure they can't get in, but after sundown, the rats are everywhere, but the cats are nowhere to be seen.
You sow what you reap.

Isn't that what shot is administered normally?  I have been asking not to put the shot with the Lepto in it because small dogs have been known to have bad reactions to it.

In all the years I've lived in So. Cal. and thats many years.  As many years as old I am.  I have seen 2 rats the whole time. Last year.  Boy was that a schock.

The vac is only given in area's that have a very high risks for it. It's is not a yearly vac here in my part of texas. And a few states it has to be rx by the vet for it to be given.

That's because they are too cheap. The better vaccines cost more.
I don't give Lepto to small pups, and would think twice about giving it to elderly, or small dogs, but it has always been in my annual booster [4 kinds of Lepto] as well as Coronavirus, which I AM SURE my dogs had, a year ago [it killed my gf's stud dog]. The vets around here were calling it an influenza, but since the symptoms matched EXACTLY the description of corona in the OLD EDITION Merck Manual [were not mentioned in the newest one], I'm thinking they goofed. Gotta cover their butts for all those unvaccinated dogs. The shot w/o Corona is as much as $30. cheaper than those with.
This is what I use [Fort Dodge].

that's what I plan to buy, but I am going over to tractor supply. The single dose are much cheaper, than buying online and having them shipped.

We used to have a local, that [quietly] partitioned them out, separately.
I used to buy from them everything, vaccines, kennels, pans and partitions....
I don't know where to get the pieces, at a good deal, anymore, so I network with other folks, to keep costs down.
