FREE MICRO CHIPPING FOR EVERY DOG
 
The City of Los Angeles Participates in the National Dog Day
"Dog Days of Summer"
 
Date:  Saturday, August 26, 2006
Time:  8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where:  All six of Los Angeles Animals Services Centers:



  • North Central Animal Shelter, 3201 Lacy Street, Los Angeles

  • South LA Animal Shelter, 3612 11th Avenue, Los Angeles

  • West Los Angeles, 11950 Missouri Avenue, West Los Angeles

  • East Valley, 13131 Sherman Way, North Hollywood

  • West Valley, 20655 Plummer Street;, Chatsworth

  • Harbor, 735 Battery Street, San Pedro

 
FREE micro-chipping for anyone who brings their dog or dogs in and anyone who adopts a dog from their local LA City animal shelter during the "Dog Days of Summer."  Hundreds of shelters throughout the United States will be bringing shelter animals together with good adoptive families.  Homeless puppies and dogs will be available for adoption at all the city shelters.
 
Lots of adorable puppies and dogs at all six locations.  The festivities will include FREE micro-chipping, coloring books and give-a-ways.  Also included will be dog training and grooming demonstrations throughout the day.
