homestyle select

has anyone tried this food. It at walmart, a kind of all natural, almost raw food. I am thinking of trying it with my dogs, but wanted to know if anyone has used it.

No but I was at Sams club the other day and they have a holistic dog kibble now, I can't remember the name, and tried looking online at their site for it, but no dog food would come up.  The ingreadiants looked great.  Walmart is in partnership with them too so maybe they have it or its part of the same brand, I want to say the Brand started with Paws something or other.  I am going to look up the walmart site to see if they have it. I am very interested in the food at Sams club possibly. Its basically $1 a lb.

i bought the food. It smells really bad, but the dogs seem to love it. I am going to see if it helps their dry skin.

Bad smell may mean it is holistic garbage that it is cobbled from.
I have never found a Costco/ Walmart dog food that I would feed. They were obviously garbage based.
I do buy underwear, pants, female, and paper products at walmart, though.
I would not buy any food in those places.

It was something different.  I have bought maximum balance dog food there and it worked well for my dogs.

I was thinking that the smell was from the fact that it was cook at a low temp for a short time, so it was mostly raw.
