Baby Update

We found out what the sex was of the baby today!!!    It's a little baby boy.  They've put my due date at the end of Sept, so I guess I'm about half-way there.  We haven't picked out any names yet.  I've hardly seen my husband to really sit down and think about any, but we still have a little bit of time.

The dogs are doing good.  Odin has taken to barking a little excessively at Nathan when he comes home from work (I'm usually in bed, so I don't know if it's because he's trying to wake me up or what)  Lola seems to be breaking out on her stomach.  I'm hoping it's just allergies and that the benedryl will help her through that.  Pi is the same ol' cuddly Pi and the kitties want to be in your lap whenever they get the chance.

Other than that no other news :)

I'm slightly nervous about having a boy, there aren't that many in my family.  We're more geared to know about girls.  I'm excited though, we've got paint colors picked out for his room and the guy is coming tomorrow to measure for the carpet.  We have middle names picked out but not first yet, still trying to think of some :)

That's exciting! CONGRATS!!! biggrin

So what names were you thinking of? Babycenter.com has this cool thing where you can create a name pool and people vote on names. People give great suggestions too. It really helped my husband and I when we were having problems with names for our daughter when I was preggo :)

Boys are so much fun. I'm sure it just depends on the kid, but with my son, he was so laid back and mellow when he was a baby. He was such a great baby. My daughter was so picky and colicky, lol.

How are you making it through the summer so far? I had my son in October, and the end of the summer was so hard, lol.

So far not too bad.  I'm about 5 1/2 months right now.  Showing some but now so much that I'm completely miserable.  The true test will be when we go to a family reunion when I'm 7 months.  We don't even have any first names we like so far.  Everything we think of there's someone we know by that name and we immediately say no if you know what I mean.  Or we know too many people with that name.  *shrug*  We'll just wait and see :)

Lol, I know what you mean. That's how it was with my kids. A name just sort of jumped into our heads one day. We had that problem with other people having the name too. Especially with my husband's family because he has got to have the biggest family on the entire planet, lol. I swear, his family takes up all the names possible =P

I hope you have a healthy pregnancy and I wish you the best of luck with names and everything after :)

Congratulations!

I'm expecting a litter from my field **** end of this month, so we can commiserate on our "puppies"biggrin
It is her first litter, and she is 6 yrs. old, so I'm nervous about the whole thing.

Barking has been an issue around here for the last few days, too. The dogs are being real brats. We just moved to this house, and we are getting settled slowly.
