Finally the Troubled one has returned to the Furum! Back in 2005 I took the most incredible assignment that I have ever been on in my 30+ years in law enforcement...helping with the cleanup and restoration of peoples lives in hurricane ravaged New Orleans. I came back home several months later (February 2006) to find that all those years helping others and enforcing the law cost me my family. Yes Sally and I split up after 27 years of marraige.
I have faced down murderers, rapists, theives and drug dealers but nothing prepared me for having someone you loved for all those years tell you that she didn't love me anymore, we have grown apart and I want you out, I am filing for divorce. Wow, those bullets I took back in 1988 didn't hurt half as bad as those words.
So I moved out, sold the Bed & Breakfast and the print shop and went back to work full time. I am on my second tour of duty with the US Marshalls service on a high level assignment protecting politicians...please don't ask because I can't tell. Sally kept the bar and restaurant (Big Nose Kate's Saloon) and still lives in our old home 15 miles North of Tombstone in Sierra Vista, while I live in the same boarding house that my great grandfather Marshall Fred White lived in over the Crystal Palace Saloon.
I am proud to say Watcher that I haven't had a drink in over three years, (but I will say the divorce has tempted me) I play poker with my son and 15 of his best friends every Sunday night and I have dinner with my daughter and son in law once a week at her house in Bisbee.
Well Watcher and friends that's about it for the last year and a half or so, the next time I post I will try not to be so detailed and morbid. I hope you and the others are well, I am in the middle of the healing process and get better every day.
Troubled in Tombstone (AKA T in T in case you forgot)
Its been mighty slow here. Nice to see you both pop in. So sorry to hear of the divorce Troubled. Been there and it is very painful. Keep doing what you're doing staying busy, things get better.
My dogs are doing ok. I went thru a scare last week with my oldest. She had a lump in her lymph area of her cheek. I thought it was a done deal. Turned out it was an infection. On meds to clear it up now, and its shrinking daily. I need to get her teeth cleaned, but pushing 13 is a bit scarey going under. But if it will give her more time hopefully, I'll do that.
The old troubled one hasn't given a lot of thought to "getting involved again", I have thrown myself back into full time law enforcement with the US Marshall's service...but I am sure that eventually I will get back in the swing of things.
You asked about the dogs well you know I lost Virgil and Morgan in the last couple of years and only have Wyatt left. He is living with Sally as the apartment I had to move into doesn't allow dogs, she always liked old Wyatt and I know he is being well taken care of.
Thank you to all of you for the kind words on my return, it is good to be back among friends.
wow. its been a long time no see for alot of people here, myself included. Sorry to hear about you and your wife troubled. Thats never an easy thing to go through. but glad to see that you are alive and well. you too watcher.
things have been good here, just busy, my dad had a stroke and my mom has alzheimers, so i have been taking turns with my sisters staying with them. Its rough to know that it wont be long until she doesnt even know who we are. My dad has been a minister for so many years and its hard for him, having to turn the church that he started , over to someone else. Its cute the way they still cling to each other. they have been married over 50 years and are still like lovebirds. hopefully when their times come, they will go together.
on a lighter note, the frenchies are flourishing. we added tiger lily. she is my little hellion. she keeps me on my toes.
Wow, the gangs getting back together! TnT, good to hear from you. Don, did you get the pictures of my dogs at the new house? Check this: http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=rmr4mox.5kg9hgid&x=0&h=1&y=-f8kxds Somebody check the local graveyards and dig up The Grim Reaper, and my life will be complete...

We are offically looking for a Chow Chow puppy. We aren't going to jump on the first one we find, would like to get one either a resuce or from a breeder who meeting my requirements. We also want a male, we have 2 females plus Storm is female aggressive. When the day comes I will be sure to post pics here as well.
I was watching t.v today and thought of Troubled, LOL Border patrol. Cool stormy, new dog. My eldest is going on 13. I thought she was a gonner not too long ago. It was just an infection though. I just homed my 8th foster last saturday. I feel good about that. So its like I get a taste of different breeds.
Kitty, fun photos. Are you still in the same town? I wont lose any sleep over Grim not being here but my life would feel more complete now if the rest of the gang was here like Ansy and Molly. BTW, my **** won BOB last weekend!
Stormy, get a lab, they are truly the breed to have.
