My sister was on her way to work this morning and she told me that traffic was at a crawl. Then on the radio she heard a traffic report and it sid that 280 had a 4 car pile up. Well, she was on 280. As she got closer to the accident she saw her girlfriends car smashed in between two pickups. Amazingly nobody was hurt. Robins girlfriends name is Jimmie. Well, Jimmies car looks like a stepped on beer can. Jimmies said that traffic was crawling at about 10 mph and all of a sudden someone hit her from the back and her car went under the truck that was in front of her. And that truck hit the car in front of him. Her hood was peeled back like a sardine can, and her window frames are all bent up. I think they will total out the car. Robin said that after the way that car looked she will never get Jimmie another car. She drove a Mistubishi Lancer. Oh well, just thought I would share my exciting morning with y'all. This week has been awful.
I'm glad no one was hurt. It's sometimes amazing to look at accidents with such damage and everyone walks, that guardian angel must have been working overtime.
I just got off the phone with my sister and she is praying that the insurance agency totals out the car. She said that the motor was shot because the hood ripped off a bunch of stuff. Jimmie was lucky she wasn't killed in an accident like that. She is lucky she wasn't on her motorcycle. I know she is sore and still a little bit shaken up, but she still went to work. I just still can't beleive no one was hurt. Luck I guess.
Is this the one that lives in Grapevine? My husband rides a motorcycle sometimes, but I think they are crazy! There is too much traffic for that around here!!! I'm glad she is o.k.
The both ride Harleys when the weather is nice.Robin also has a brand new black Z71 Extended Cab. And Jimmies car was just 2 years old. Yeah Robin works in Grapevine.
