You guys (and gals) play with the chat feature over the weekend and let me know what needs fixing.  I'm not finished with it, but it's workable, I believe.  If you want to open the chat screen in a different window, go to www.thefurum.com and click on 'chat'.

I may end up going with another chat server....not sure yet.  this one seems a little difficult to use.  It has a strange registration process.....but you are not required to register in order to chat - only if you want to reserve your name.  If you want to reserve your name you will see a pop-up window after you click 'connect'.  Read it and it will tell you how to register.   If you need help, let me know.  Also, if registering.....you do NOT need to add the [] around your email as it shows and you do not need to underline it.  You'll see when you get there.
