I was browsing through the petfinder listings and found a five month old pup that looks identical to Koda, except that this one is a girl. I called on her just to see what her temperment was like and I found out that she is to be euthanized Tuesday! Patrick says we can't afford to get her out. So I have been scrounging around and going through change, I have come up with 42 dollars already, I need 75. I am not worried about food or caring for her(we have PLENTY of food), but I can't let them put her down. They only keep them about two weeks there. She has been there since the 7th.

I am going nuts trying to find a way to get more money before Tuesday. (They are closed Sunday and Monday so she is safe through then) But she is due to be marked Tuesday! I want to go up there first thing Tuesday and get her out. If nothing else, we can get her out and find her a home but I can't let them euthanize her.

Don't have a friend that will lend you 30 til pay day? Or a child with a bunch of money in a piggy bank? or a child that will lend you 30? Pawn something that doesn't really mean much and get it out on pay day. I'd help but too far away and i'm broke as a joke! Just bought a new car.

I know you must be frustrated. I think its sad that they only give dogs a certain amount of time before they are pts. I was told once here that they dogs that seem like they won't adopt out get pts in like 3 days of being put there. Sad.

WoW!  What a pretty dog!  This has just given me an idea.......I'm gonna see about adding a photo album to the site for adopted pets only.  I'll call it Project: Lives Saved or something and everytime someone adopts a pet their pic and info will be added to the photo album.  That way everyone can see just how many lives have been saved by loving pet onwers.  I think it could have an impact an ecnourage more people to adopt.
