We have figured out that Kaia is actually a Golden Retriever/Shar Pei rather then the Golden Retriever/Chow we were told but she is just as cute to us regardless! She is such a great dog, she was already spayed but for some reason the vet couldn't tell so they cut her open anyway and there was nothing there!! So she is still not feeling too hot. But she is housebroken and she is great with the kids, she doesn't chew on anything at all! The only problem I have seen so far is that she barks when she is alone in the kennel. But we will be working on that. Enjoy her pictures!

Congrats!  She is beautiful!  In fact I checked out all the pics of your furcrew & they are all gorgeous!


What a shame she had to undergo unnecessary surgery! 


I'm so glad you were able to get her.  It sounds like she is going to be a perfect fit with your family!

Thanks guys! Kaia has been a great addition to the family. She snores at night and it is soooo funny. She is VERY loud! lol She is getting good about being in her crate and she is great outside, we are still working on the kennel issue but it will get better. She is very good about letting me know when she has to go out. Kaia and I went for a 3 mile walk this morning and she had no problem keeping up with me at all. I think she is going to be a great dog! She starts obedience on the 23rd.
