I called to see if she is available,but she is still at the vet.It has her listed at 4 months,but they said the age must be wrong,cause she is getting spayed.I have to call back at 3:30.Wish me luck on her and the other one under breeding thread,maltese mix. I don't under stand why they are getting fixed before adoption.this isn't a no kill shelter.Unless they know they will be adopted. HMMM This little one in the above pic they have listed as a poodle mix,what do you think she is mixed with?

I don't know what she's mixed with but she is precious! It is very easy to see why you want her! And they are doing spays earlier now so that doesn't mean she is older than 4 mos.

Im so MAD!!!!!!!!!!! I called back and they said the computer wasn't updated ealier when I called and that she died over night. She has a very bad case of mange,he said the worse he had seen .Doesn't seem too bad in the pic.How could someone neglect medical care!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im so upset about this.

That was definitely strange! She had the worst case of mange but she was scheduled to be spayed?

Seems like they were concentrating on what was important for her.

well I guess the guy I spoke to earlier,had just assumed thats why she was at the vet,but it was for mange.You can kinda see it in the pic,on her chest and legs

I'm so sorry she died and that the shelter allowed you to get your hopes up.

I'm sure that the dog you're supposed to have is out there and that you will find him/her if you keep looking. Unfortunately, the process can still be very frustrating.

I'm so sorry to hear about that, Shadow. She looked like she was a really great pup. Take Proto's advice, the dog you're looking for is out there, she just needs to find you. It sounds like someone didn't care for her too much before and it probably was kindest to put her to rest.

That is so sad. Sorry you got your hopes up. But there is another dog out there. Almost everyday I look on petfinder and I fall in love with a pup but I know right now its best not to get my hopes up.
