Holy sh*t!!! Somehow we owe $1100 to Fed and $400 to state!! WTF??? I couldn't believe it. I wish I could've seen my own jaw drop when she said that. I looked at my dh and saw the look on his face and it was like "how are we going to pay $1500??" I am so ****ed!! We were counting on getting money back this year. We got $1500 back last year and so I thought nothing's changed and we end up having to pay back the same amount. How the hell does that work?? Sorry just ranting and raving here.
Heck, I'd rather break even than pay in. Geesh!! Like they're not taking enough money out of our paychecks for social security and stuff we're not even going to get to use!! But on the brighter side, Brad talked to his dad about what we should do and such and he suggested we work it off by staining and varnishing all the wood that's going into their new house. He said they were going to pay some lady more than $1500 to do it anyway so we'd be saving them the money while they're giving us money. I knew everything would work out!! His parents are so awesome to us!! Well, my afternoons will be filled up once we start doing that. So, not as much me on here as usual But making $1500 probably within a week or so will be well worth the lack of time spent on here during the day
Sorry Mollie. I am thankful that I am not in your shoes, and wish that you didnt have to go through it yourself. My taxes I did on the net, and still am waiting for my return.
I do not make much money in the least so maybe they feel sorry for me
Luckily I got some back which I had (notice past tense here) earmarked strictly for fun this year for summer vacation.
Well I went to have 2 new front tires put on my truck this afternoon because one of them kept going low and as is my luck out comes the manager & he says "Come with me, I want to show you something on your truck". That is never good! Long story short, I needed upper & lower ball joints on both sides. There went most of my fun fund!
I already did mine still have to do hubby's. I got back a good chunk which was gone in one day. But I got a new car! Hubby won't be getting any back cause he own's back child support cause of his B***H for an ex lied in court (still getting all that fixed child support court SUCKS!!!!!) Anywho, Next year i'm hoping for more money back seems I make more this year than last. Plus hubby will get money back then as well. Next year's we are going on a much needed vacation, by then we will have another dirt bike and are hopeing to go camping with the kids and poochies!
My refund is already gone too. I had to pay house taxes and get new tires for the car and after that we only had a few hundred left so we decided not to touch it and just use it for bills. I am just glad house taxes were cheap.
