Finally maybe some of those dogs will actually get a real life. Poor Poor babies. At least he's off the street. Maybe it will put some what of a dent into dogfighting.
That's great! Now hopefully the authorities will be able to get the max punishment for both of them! It's people like them that have ultimately created the bad name for pitbulls. No dog should be subjected to the life they envisioned for them.
I'm in New Orleans, and this story is all over the news here. The SPCA person said they've found fight records for this guy dating back to 1958.
Some of the guy's dogs shown on the news here don't look like ABPTs. I swear a couple of them look just like Patterdales and a couple look just like ABs. No wonder BSL is so confusing (and a bad idea).
I'm thrilled this guy was finally caught, but I can't help but wonder why the Department of Homeland Security was involved in the investigation. Shouldn't the DHS be busy protecting us from, you know, terrorists?

I couldnt have said it better my self! I totally agree with you
This moring all of them were PTS. This I find kinda touchy. For one I can see why they did this. They could have fostered\adopted all these dogs out, then one get loose and there's another "killer Pit Bull" story. But then again there are alot of people that can handle an extremely dog aggessive dog. My biggest thing is the puppies if there were any. I mean were they PTS also? I just can't understand why if they were. Puppies could have been adopted out and they would have never known where they came from. Just cause they came from an aggessive lines doesn't mean anything, if raised proper they could have been great dogs!
Yeah, unfortunately, they will always put the dogs down. That's why i said above that i feel sorry for the dogs but it has to be better then the life they lived. I agree totally that the puppies could have been adopted though. They would have to be taught to be fighters, it's not in their blood.
