Hi everyone! I have been watching/reading this forum for a long time, and maybe I was inspired by P&D and decided to join. I have avoided joining for a while because I guess a while ago someone was in the chat room here pretending to be me (megbrink from TP). Whoever this was was saying lots of bad things about TP people and apparently some other things. This was brought to my attention by someone over at TP.

Anyway, just so you all know, that person wasn't me--when this occurred I was new to TP (still sort of am) and had no clue about anything or anyone over there.

Anyhoo...just wanted to get that out of the way! I have two doggies--Koda who is a 7 month lab/poodle mix and Harry who is a 6 month lab/poodle mix as well. I adopted Koda when she was 7 weeks. I volunteer at a local shelter doing mostly books and tax stuff and Koda's black lab mommy came in and gave birth to 8 beautiful babies. I fell in love with Koda right away and luckily my hubby wasn't allergic so we adopted her. As for Harry, a co-worker of mine purchased him at a pet store, and due to unforseen personal circumstances she was unable to keep him. When I heard about her predicament I BEGGED hubby and after spending some time with Harry we couldnt' say no. We've had him now for almost two months and while we've had some problems (namely housetraining) he has been wonderful.

Welcome to the forum.  I'm glad you decided to join us.  Don't worry about the past nonsense involving your name; you're not the only one who has had problems with someone else stealing a name.  Nobody here is going to blame you for someone else's actions.


If you're having problems with dogster, you could also try loading pictures on someplace like photobucket or webshots.  I look forward to seeing pics of your dogs.

Megbrink - I am the one that emailed you because I saw that you were getting bashed on tp and then someone came in our chatroom pretending to be you. They were talking about tp trying to get us to say something bad about tp. I just warned you what was going on. Glad you are here. Hope you like it

Jawlaw- I was very grateful that you warned me that somoene was pretending to be me. That didn't bother me at all--i just sort of avoided joining because I didn't want people to think I was just some kind of troublemaker. I hope that makes sense--i'm a little tired :). I definetly was glad you said something to me though!

Welcome....I'm new here too..Everyone here is real friendly. I used to be on TP a lot but this site I think is better.


Your pups are beautiful..


I have 6 collies a springer spaniel and a white schnauzer....oh and a hubby that thinks I'm a nut case....he runs around yelling NO MORE DOGS!!!

i always love julie's post! Megbrink- your dogs are adorable!! They are labradoodles, right? I actually thought about getting one because my son wanted a big dog and I wanted one that didn't shed. However, they are way to expensive for me!  Yours are so, so cute!!!!

Thank you! Harry is definetly a labradoodle, but Koda we aren't 100% sure. I know her mom was a black lab but her and her littermates all came out with that poodly look. Plus she barely sheds. Then when we got harry and saw that they looked almost identical, we figured it was safe to assume she was also a labradoodle! They really are great dogs--super super friendly, very sweet, cuddly, SMART (almost too smart) and energentic! I totally agree aobut being too expensive though! Koda we got for the bargain adoption price of 100.00 and Harry was free Although, my coworker told me how she paid for him and I nearly gagged (898 ON SALE!!!!).

Thank you all for the compliments on my babies! I would love to see pics of everyone else's pets!!!

Welcome!  Your pups are precious!  And I know exactly what you mean when you say "almost too smart"!  My 2 have definitely figured out how to do things no other dogs I have had have even come close to!

Meg! How the heck are ya?? Glad to see you came over! I know you and I had our little disagreements in the past but I hope we can put that behind us and start over. Your one of the few people who understands my passion for my animals and animals in general and how at times I can get a bit excited lol. Your little ones are beautiful welcome to the furum!

Thanks Pits!  I'm glad I joined too--and I'm glad you are here as well.  I'm also glad you are willing to forget our little disagreement--I know I've forgotten about it.  I understand your passion and I definetly got a little carried away when I first joined TP and I apologize for being rude--I was just feeling defensive/sensitive over my babies :(  Anyhoo, all in the past!  I think you have a wealth of knowledge and I always look forward to reading your posts!    look forward to chatting!!!  =) =)

you know that is how it is suppose to work...you have disagreements and you get over it...some people do not allow it to work that way, though. I'm glad to see you guys are.. Hey, I have told this story many times..how stormy and i got into it on tp. we were really mad at each other, but we love each other now!! :)
