Some of you know what happend from hearing the story in chat last night. But for those of you that do not know let me tell you how my Easter went.
Then the little Lhasa decided to attack my male Doberman Rusty. Poor Rusty was startled and backed off at first and this little Lhasa refused to let it go. Rusty grabbed him by the neck and pinned him. After obaying and releasing the little Lhasa the stupid little dog went after him again. My poor Rusty lol. Anyway of course the rest of the dogs find it necessary to join in. Now My hubby decides Rusty is certain to kill this dog so he grabs his collar and lifts Rusty's front legs off the ground. Rusty cannot defend himself and this Lhasa is just going at him. I thought for sure he would tare Rusty's side open. NOW Rusty is getting ticked. I tell my husband to let him go and to get all the other dogs out of the kitchen.
My husband is deaf and of course does not hear me but instead begins to scream which makes the whole thing worse and my task a whole lot harder to complete. Anyway, I give him a whap on the arm to get his attention and he gets upset at me. Finally he lets Rusty go and gets the others into another room which I am proud to say that they all obayed on voice command despite how riled they all were. Now in the mean time rusty has taken this Lhasa and shaken him by the neck and then tossed him up onto the kitchen counter! The Lhasa hits the wall bounces off and lands on the floor! Rusty walks off as if he has taught his lesson for the day and doled out a well deserved butt kicking only to be surprised! This little Jerk of a Lhasa has again gone after him! I had to carry my 106 lb doberman into the bedroom with a Lhasa waddeling behind as if to say "I am not finished yet!" Now Rusty is in the bedroom and he is really mad by this point and quite honestly I believe had he gotten the chance he would have mangled this little dog for sure after repetedly walking away to only be attacked again.
The Lhasa is by this point now out in the yard and cooling off (we hope) And Rusty is in the bedroom paceing! I am shaking at this point having finally gotta a moment to process everything that just happend and I about nearly collapsed! I had visions of a torn up dog in my kitched and at the same time thanking God above that this Lhasa had not attacked Dillon who surely would have snapped.
It gets better because after calming down for nearly an hour we check both dogs. Rusty submits to examination as the good boy he is and he has not a single scratch on him. WOW! Thick hide thank God. We turn to the Lhasa and that little butthole is as much of a jerk as ever. He growls through the entire examination and then in the house he goes. Well he decides he is not going to his crate. Dorothy tries to pick him up and he goes after her. I try and he wants to bite me. So I used the safety gate opened up all the way to corral him into his crate. Whew! So in the end no damage done and the Lhasa has earned a bunch of frequent flyer miles.
Oh! Just when I though the day had calmed down hubby got shot! Well he had left a tube of biscuits on the counter and forgot them and they of course exploded and the tube end hit him. Being deaf and not hearing it you can imagine how startled he was when it hit him! I nearly wet myself laughing!
SO other then the dog fight and the attacking biscuit tube it was a pleasent Easter!
Hope everyone had a nice holiday too. lol

Oh wow Pits, that is quite a day!!! Did I miss something about whose Lhasa this is? Is the dog yours or one that you are fostering? I'm sorry if you said this--i'm a little slow :) Sounds like you had quite a day. Your dogs sound very well trained however!! Glad that rusty is ok!
it's the lil Lhasa from the kennel I sprung him cuz I felt sorry for him. Gee I am regretting it!
