OK you all may know that I have a puppy named Calvin. He is 4 months old now. And he has been having gas problems. It smells HORRIBLE!!! It has just been the last couple days but OMG!!! I did give him canned food yesterday and some today, both times it was mixed in with his dry food. Do you think that could be the culprit? How do you stop doggy gas?! He is stinking up the place LOL
Piper, our chocolate lab is the gassiest dog I have ever seen! He can make a room FOUL!!! We have tried several foods....and nothing seems to help yet. I do not recommend Alpo for gassy dogs.......it becomes Alpoot.....and OMG it is nasty.
Poor dog....he can't help it, but I wish he could.
If you can afford it, use Nutro Ultra. It is superior to all foods that I see in the pet store and both the cans and kibble have acidophilus in them. It will chase the nasties away . In a few days the air will be clear.
I had the same problem with Koda until I switched to Nutro as well. Now I don't have gas problems from either of them. Its a little pricey but I think its great food. And my house smells MUCH better now :)
he is seeming better today, THANK GOODNESS! I really really really think it was the canned food. It gave him the poops too. No more canned food for him for a while! LOL
Maybe try a different food.
