First, I have been following as time permits. I work two jobs so I don't have the time but I follow along and am very pleased with what you have accomplished.

Second, DO NOT ABIDE by any "truce".
It was a snake when it bit you the first time. Do not apologize for anything. We live in the free world and you have the right to start another forum. You also have the right to establish rules as you see fit. Obviously you live by the creed: govern yourselves accordingly. Some people are followers and need to be dictated to. Others like yourself and (me) and others resent the intrusion and the assumption that I am not an adult. I am not a joiner. I do not like cliques, bandwagons, and all that jazz. I resent being made to feel like if I do not agree with you then I must be the enemy. Common sense tells me I dont have to take this type of mistreatment. For some people, Ansy, common sense is not that common. Those are the people you CANNOT pander to.
Your efforts are reinforced because there are always TP loyalists skulking about and reporting back to their masters. Don't stop doing what you are doing. If they talk about you: you are in their thoughts.
Ansy, there should be a place we can chat about dogs, vent, debate, and have fun without fear of retribution. There should be a place where if I do not agree with you, I can. There should be a place where moderators are impartial. But you cannot please everyone, so don't hurt yourself trying.
For example, President Bush and his brother, Governor Jeb Bush intervened in the Terry Schiavo case because they are "compassionate conservatives". Guess what? The judge that pulled the plug or rather refused to reinsert is a diehard Republican. The Supreme Court is largely conservative. So the Pres should have stayed out of it because now his constituents (religious right) are turning on him. The point is and I feel kinda bad for President Bush, the point is Ansy: You cannot help everyone. No matter what you do some people are never ever satisfied. They are always unhappy and complain no matter what you try to do.
So keep doing what you are doing. Don't begrudge anything, don't apologize and just DO YOU!

My problem is always giving people the benefit of the doubt. I do it too often, because I am required to in my field of work. I don't 'run' this forum (including my actions on it) like I 'run' my real life and therefore I shouldn't bring the rule of 'innocent until proven guilty' into it, but sometimes I do.
My humble side wants to work with people and put an end to this only to have them go back on their word which brings out my wickedness. I can be very wicked or very humble, there is no in-between for me. I love duping the bully. It is my lifes work and I will continue to dupe the bully as long as they are one. The only to get rid of a bully is to show them that they aren't one - and I'm very good at that. Like I said in another post though......I don't really have to point them out anymore.....they are doing a good enough job of it themselves....lol
