I know lots about Christian religion/faith: MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES. Which you nor anyone else can change. I think it is a bunch of bullc** but just as I am entitled to not care about Christianity or any other organized religion you are entitled to care and worship. Julie I have wondered that same thing for sometime now. And to be honest she doesn't strike me as a woman of God. (not bashing just my thoughts)

There is a difference between religion and faith. Religion is something you practice, Faith is something you have.

I am not religious. I don't have some statue or ceramonial worshiping ritual.

And honestly Gina you can wonder all you want because in the end the only one I need to account to is God himself. Don't strike you as a woman of God? Would you know one? I mean honestly do you think because I am a minister I am supposed to be above others? All of a sudden I am held to some higher standerd then others? Since when am I not human? Since when do we not have flaws like anyone else? I don't look down my nose at people professing to be better then them because I am a minister. So don't you dare look down your nose at me because I don't meet your definition of a woman of God because we are all of God to begin with.

if it doesnt bother you, doesnt hurt your family what's it to you if PitsandDobes is a minister? Ministers make a considerable amount of money- $5000 and up for a 4 day a month work schedule. And some although their compensation is tax free do a considerable amount of charitable work in their communities. Whose to say PitsandDobes is not Joyce Meyers who mind you did get a face lift courtesy of her congregation but never ye mind that. The point is:

PitsandDobes whatever you are and whatever you choose to be and however you wish to express your choices is your business, your right and your freedom. Usually as long as it does not encroach on others.

Do you girl! And don't sweat the haters and naysayers! There will always be people who don't like you. Shake them off!

Pits and I have had major disagreements it's a very long story. It all started when she said she was a professional dog trainer and then turned around and advised someone to spank their 8 lb dog for barking. There have just been a lot of statments made by her that make a person wonder....

I think Pits meant that being a Christian and being "religious" are not really the same. Being a Christian means the obvious, no more no less. Oftentimes being "religious" means paying more attention to the outward form of worhippping by rote. I answered her question and I answered yours. What part of there is a difference between religion and faith don't you get? I do not "practice a religion." I am a Christian a child of God, Catholics can worship theyr statues and teach that babies who die without baptisim wil go to hell, A shrine to Buddha does not sit in my living room and I do not chat or burn incense. That is religion. I simply talk to my father and Saviour every single chance I get. Just like I talk to my husband, my dogs, all of you I talk to him.

For the record tyson ministers do not make that much money lol
