Interesting how the tactics of GinaH are bashed, and there's an uproar about threatening e-mails, but The Watcher is welcomed after this:

Gina, I warned you yesterday on TP, and you and your band of followers just kept it up and still posting today. You need to stop now before I get involved.

For now, I only published your email, keep it up and see where it goes from here. I posted this message on another forum also, stop now or Gina will be everywhere.

I don't know about anyone else, but I wasn't aware that this was going on myself....

One way to stop it is for people to stop posting threads from over there...just ignore it....

All this person did was give her a taste of her own medicine. So what! After what she did you cannot expect for people to not have something to say about it. The Watcher has not posted anything here to break any rules of this forum so we shouldn't be concerning ourselves with it. In fact the watcher has not yet posted at all.

I agree with Jawlaw the posts from tp being posted here only serve to give them exactly what they want. It has been calm lets leave it that way.

I have not personally welcomed The Watcher because of seeing their posts and remarks on TP. I think some here thought they were just another new member and didn't realize what had happened with this persons posts.

I have notified The Watcher that impersonating someone on this board is against the rules and will result in their banning. Even if they are impersonating themself, they are still hiding behind a name and acting as someone else. They have 24 hours to either cancel their account or change their name or I will do it for them.

FYI - I have checked the IP of this person and it does not match any other member on this board. I also cannot find a proxy match for it. They could be using a proxy, but if they are, I haven't found it yet.

By judging this persons posts, they are already a member of one, if not both forums under another name. The signed up as The Watcher so that no one would know who they were. Now, I knoe you technically can't impersonate yourself, but what I mean is, by using another name, they are acting as someone else and not the member name they are known by. That is against the rules here and if they don't change it, I will ban that person from this forum.

I do not agree with the banning Ansy. The watcher has not done anything here. His/Her/Its antics at TP should be applauded. At least someone is telling them to stop harassing people they don't agree with. Gina could not find an audience here receptive to the dramatic nonsense. Because this forum is filled with people who actually can think/reason for themselves and do not behave like sheep. This is a thinking forum!

(as if we actually believed MSN/VERIZEN and AOL could all simultaneously be involved in the "scary" email communication); and

(as if we actually believed the email was deleted but the text wasn't); and

(as if we actually believed Gina posted the personal/public/private info about Pits because she was concerned about our safety); and

(as if we actually believed posting company content we can easily find on the company's website would make us more inclined to believe Pits sent the "horrifically violently scary); and

(as if we actually believed Gina truly wanted to participate drama free in this forum); and

(as if I am quite ticked off that this has been such a stink when John Ashcroft along with the new U.S. Attorney General have both admitted they have taped cell phone conversations and received the reading lists of specific library patrons BUT not one of these supposed frightened TP posters has written a d** thing about that and not one of those frightened TP posters was upset but they are "scared" of Pits.

O.k. while the government admits to eavesdropping you are worried about Pits.

Yeah, ok. This entire debacle reeks of bored housewives scheming with their hacker buddies. B** Squad is right.

The entire incident reeks of a lynch mob thirsty for blood. They could not stand Pits for a variety of reasons and they have systematically continued the witch hunt even though she is banned from TP.

Ansy, I do not think banning Watcher at this point is the right thing to do but of course it is your party. Dance on!

I kinda agree with Tyson but i'm not sure. I didn't even know the watcher posted here. Must ba a page back because i just keep getting behind on reading posts.....lol

Isn't it? I find it even more interesting we have never received/had the courtesy of receiving the header of Gina's supposed "scary" email. But someone had the common sense to keep all the info of the email from the Watcher. Now I wonder why?

I want to see the header. All this fuss about text but no actual email. This has been going on for days and we have yet to see the header because it was "deleted".

I am not afraid of Pits. Why would I be and why should you? Does the woman know where you live, your jo?. I would be concerned if the email said "Gina, I know you work at K-Mart. You will be at work today at 8 pm. I will be there too. To kick your *!"

Now that is a threat!

I'm in no way scared of pits either...that isn't the point I'm trying to make.

What I'm saying is that many were in an uproar about the "threatening" e-mail GinaH received (not saying you...just referring back to the other night) and continue to bash her for the methods she used against pits. YET, when the watcher comes on he/she is welcomed with comments like:

Love your approach on things! (pits)
His/Her/Its antics at TP should be applauded (tyson)

My question is: Pits and GinaH were jumped and bashed for their involvement/alleged involvement, methods/alleged methods, BUT when someone else comes on here after being involved in the exact same type of childish BS, AND there is "header proof" that it came from that person, WHY are folks offering welcome??

Just doesn't make sense to me and seems awfully hypocritical.

How is hypocritical? The Watcher from what I have seen only says its watching. And gives warning of exposing as opposed to just retaliating without ever finding out if the person you are retaliating against is the guilty party that has flamed you.

Maybe I have overlooked something, but I have not seen anything the Watcher says that seems threatening. All it ever says I am watching you. O.k.

If I am wrong I will admit I am wrong but I just don't see how Gina's behavior and the Watcher's are identical.

I don't see the corolation either. Gina posted flat out lies and made things up as we all have seen. MSN, Varizon and AOL are three seperate companies. but whatever.

Ansy has to do what she feels is best for her forum but I have not seen one post by the watcher much less anything that breaks the rules here. In the end it is up to Ansy. We may not like her decision or even agree with it but we should respect it.

Tyson and Pits....

In my first post on this thread you can see exactly what the watcher said and a link to where he/she then posted a threat on another forum to expose information about Gina as retaliation. That, in my eyes, is not just watching. Additionally, in my eyes, the intent and wording in those particular posts is NO different at all from the e-mail Gina said she received.

I understand that neither of you see a problem with the e-mail Gina got, and more to the point don't really believe she got the e-mail at all. Did I see the e-mail as a viable threat? No...just messed up and from somebody with issues. Doesn't make me afraid...I'm still here, right?

My point is:
1. There are people on here who DID see a problem with the e-mail Gina got and wanted repercussions for the person who sent it.
2. The Watcher posted equally threatening dialogue on two separate forums about Gina (this is not speculation or one person's word, as was the case with Gina's e-mail...you can access the watcher's posts yourself).
3. YET, when the watcher comes on the forum, he/she is welcomed. In my opinion that is extremely hypocritical.

Folks are asking for peace and an end to the drama, then welcoming someone that obviously thrives on it. Doesn't make sense to me.

AND again this person has not broken the rules here. What people do else where is their business.
