Erica...I melted when I saw the pic too..HArd thing to resist...I bought 2 of my schnauzers the same day...from different breeders and they were a few weeks apart in age...It was hectic..but they are older now and well worth it. Your younger..lol..and you can do all the running around with them..im not as able..Both of our dogs are bonded to us as the humans...but just cant get enough of each other either..They play and tease each other to no end..Seems with your Husband gone and your daughter at school (most days) you might need and want more pets that you can dote on and love and train...I say good luck to you..if not this one..You know your heart is aching for another one or you would not have been looking in petfinder in the first place..So...wait until the pull over takes you...Good luck...
Moen, when the 1st dog is 2, absolutely housebroken, and does what you tell it, then the 2nd dog falls into the routine, just imitates the 1st...if #1 has bad/unpredictable behaviors the new dog picks those up just as fast. Plus, when one is geriatric, the other is still going and you don't have that sad time of passing hit you w/both at the same time, although that is not a given w/lifespans...
no i didnt hear anything from them today. Huron you hit the nail on the head! I hadn't even thought about why I look on pet finder LOL I do want another puppy but i dont at the same time.....but then again that is how i felt about getting Calvin in the first place. I was soooo nervous about getting him. Now i wish i would have gotten a puppy WAAAAAYYYY sooner! LOL I do understand the whole 2 yrs old thing BUT i know i wont wait that long. I think to each his own. Kind of like having children i think. Some people have then close in age and others wait years and years. It just depends on what you can take on and what you are ready for.
