Renee,

Currently, there is no tool to do this automatically. The new owner needs
to open an account and load the dog's information. You can then either delete
the dog from your account, or retain the dog as a former pet. A duplicate
for this reason isn't a problem because your pictures will be completely
different from the pictures posted by the new owner and represent a different
time in the dog's life cycle.

If the dog has extensive Pup Pals which the new owner wishes to retain, you
may submit a request for Top Dog to do a manual transfer. The manual transfer
takes longer, but all the Pup Pal links move with the dog. We would also
require the e-mail address of the new owner and a verification e-mail from
them confirming the transfer.

I love it.  Shadow is gorgeous!  What a pretty dog.


What is his temperament. If the grin says anything he looks like a very very happy guy!

Thanks! And yes, the grin says it all. I really lucked out with this guy. He loves all people and wants to be near people at all times. He doesn't want to kill the cats outside, and when I took him to our friend's house, he played very well with their 2 dogs. He and Manson did great that first day, but no more. It was Manson who started their fight,and who would love nothing more than to do it again. Shadow follows me everywhere I go. He's not overly pushy, though, and not so close that I trip on him when I turn around.

I read about that tiff between the two shiny. I am so sorry to hear they are not doing well. Is Shadow going to be ok? I was going to tell you that you should not feel obligated to keep him I will take him back if necessary but you seem to have things well under controll. And I know your quite fond of him. I never doubted you I just don't want to cause unnessary burden on you or make you feel like your stuck. Hi si good with cats isn't he? LOL mine are not used to such a friendly dog my dogs usually ignore the cats.


Thanks Kitty that is Dillon my rescue dog who has now become a permanent addition to our family. He has decaf coffee and a toasted bagel with me every morning! What a clown!

Pits, thank you but NO THANK YOU! Shadow's not going anywhere. Both dogs are doing well, they just have to do well separately, and that's okay. It's a chance one always takes when adding another dog, and even more so for the breed that I have. I took Manson with me when I picked up Shadow, and was pleased that they seemed to get along, but I would never have even bothered to make the trip if I was not prepared to deal with the fact that they may decide not to get along.

lol ok. I am glad you are so committed and I know what you mean. Now see why I was so shaken up when it happend with mine? Scarry huh? Well I just wanted to make sure you knew you had that option. Did Shadow fight back at all? Poor thing he was probably shocked being the fun loving guy he is.

Yep, it was awful. Now that it's over with I can giggle at your use of the word "tiff" to describe it... kinda like saying WWII was a little "spat!" Shadow tried but he was at a disadvantage because he had on a collar and Manson didn't. When rolling around and being thrown about by a couple dogs(they ignored me), he was easier for me to grab hold of which unfortunately also made him more vulnerable.

Yep Rusty had a collar on when the Lhasa went after him. When mark grabbed him thinking he was saving the little Lhasa he actually put him at a disadvantage. Oh they rarely pay attention. However I must say that all including Rambo stopped immediatly when I gave the command. Rusty on the other hand is hard headed over a female. I wonder why Manson has issue with Shadow?
