Flea control

Just wondering what kind you use. It is about time for me to start my dogs on some kind of flea control. What do you use? What do you suggest???

I don't have fleas but my mom does. She uses Frontline Plus on her Boxer and Pit. And it seems to work. I am lucky I don't have fleas becasue for Oscar it would cost 35 a month.

I have had luck with frontline plus for my Dobes. I cannot use it on Rambo or Dillon they lose their hair and their skin gets all itchy and red. And it soes NOT work for my cocker spaniel. I am at a loss on what to use for these three. So any suggestions would be great. I spray my yard down every couple of weeks with flea soap in the yard sprayer during flea season but I do need something for the dogs themselves.

I get a hose end sprayer and do the yard, Zodiac premise spray with precor/IGR, and Zodiac pet spray w/ IGR. The 3 together, used this time of year, breaks the flea life cycle and they never are a problem here. I use a fresh up on the dog spray before going to the park, or my mom's house.

I heard nothing works...and some stuff can be toxic....

Tyson doesn't get fleas he gets huge ticks everytime he is in the yard. Poor thing and he loves being outside and playing in the mud...

Fun for him, yuck for us (We have to bathe him)
