I will try to make this short and sweet. I guess most of you know that my sweet Oscar passed away last April. It was probably one the hardest things I have ever gone through. It happened so quick, one week he was fine and the next just gone. I still find it hard to believe that its almost been a year.
Then in May Brad graduated college with his mechanical engineering degree and got a great job that same month. At the end of may we closed on our first house. And I still work at freaking Walmart as a front end manager, but at least I know my job is seccure.
We also got a new hobby. Drag racing. We bought a 2006 Chevy SS Truck and its Brads baby. We have put so much money into the truck I call it Kaitlyns college fund. But we have put a supercharger on it and it also has nitrous...and many more mods. Too many to list. But heck at least its paid off.
My dad has been going through a hard time also. We found out he had testicular cancer so he had to have the boys removed. Soon after that we found out the cancer has spread to one of his lymphnodes in his abdomen. He is currently on month 4 of chemo. His last treatment is next week and then hopefully he will be cancer free. I think the hardest thing about the cancer has been him lossing his hair.
Kaitlyn is doing good. Its still hard to believe that she is 7 years old. Murphy is doing good too.
And finally on March 11th we finally got a new puppy. He is an 11 week old Great Dane. Already 40 pounds. His name is Mickey Moo. So now here are pics.....
We run the 1/4 mile..we got a great top end on it. We haven't currently ran it with all the current mods but we are hoping for the 11's.
And thanks on the house. The inside still isn't decorated the way I want it but it takes time and money for that. We were gonna get new couches but with having a new pup that might wait another year.
Hopefully your dad will be ok, Paige. fingers crossed. Your new pup is a cutie... My sisters friend recently got a dane pup, I think Merlin is about 6 months old now, all black. Its funny cause when she says his name it sounds like she is calling him Marilyn cause she has an English accent. Cool truck. Do you drive it in the races too?
Well daddy got put in the hospital so his last round of chemo got pushed back another week. He had to get 3 units of blood so he was too weak for the chemo.
And Brad won't let me drive the truck at the track. I am the picture taker and beer drinker. LOL...
Well you being photographer and beer drinker, you still get to have fun. You got a nice zoom lens on your camera. Oh do you use the action mode where it takes a picture like every second or so?
