Paige, I showed Russ Oscar, we both can see how he would ruin a couch!! He is so cute though. Rock is pretty gentle, it is just that dang white hair.....I swept the hall, steps, foyer, next set of steps....next landing....(all wood flooring)I had enough white hair to make a pillow!!! If I could gather it ALL up at one time, might just be enough for a mattress! lol
Watchers got some white dogs for his couch. I hate the way the dog hair sticks up like porcupine quills from fabric, and is nearly impossible to remove, my car is a disaster in the back. If I don't bathe Buck before his 1st obedience class tonight, I can add smell to the equation. No dogs on my furniture! I am sure I am allergic to them. I have 4 in the house...
I have a "Dog" couch. They all fight over who is going to lay on it but they never get on MY couch. I also have 4 dog beds and 3 dog crates in my living room. Thank god my living and dinning room is one big room! LOL
When I had my white Boxer we had a car with maroon seats. Now talk about hairy! After she died I tried to get the hair out, after trying everything I finally found that a damp wash cloth works GREAT. It doesn't get all the hair off but it gets a good chunk.
Stormy, thanks for the tip. We have the burgandy seats in out van and they are a mess right now!! We went to the park to eat and walk, then visited the cemetery, the dogs were all over the van as usual. And since the day was, windows down, HAIR WAS FLYING!! lol
I guess I didn't give "rubber" a thought until earlier today. Someone somewhere mentioned used their rubber soled slippers across rugs and such. lol Sounds like it may work...I might even have a pair that may work!
AAWWW..that is how Molly lays on the couch too! Rock gets so jealous! Trust me though...when no one is home, Rocky and I cuddle on the couch too!! lol He is really good about only gettin gup there when invited. Same way in bed....which he is really too big for, Russ and I are not tiny people! Three of us lugs and the little mutt in one bed!! That doesn't usually last longer than about a half hour! Once someone starts tugging at the blankets, Rocky always crawls off and creeps to his corner!
Mine are allowed on the furniture and the bed. My mom has 2 white German Shepherds, and man, the hair is insane. Not only are they allowed on the furniture, but the carpet at her house is dark brown. She has to vaccuum OFTEN, and sometimes it still looks hairy.
Looks like Stormy has a whole lotta PM's to send! lol I am curious too. But that's ok!
Anyway, hey, Stormy, did you know if you type like I do, your name usually comes out like this....Stromy, which could only mean it could be short for Stromboli....which sounds really good right now because I am very hungry. See what hunger does to me? Makes me weirder than normal.....
Yeah, dinner is evidentI just got back from Buck's 1st dog class/shopping while he was crated in the back of the Honda. I have yet to feed the dogs their 2nd meal, and me my 1st... Oh, I made a concerted effort to sticky roll the hair out of the back of the car, after I flea shampooed Buck, and washed the crate. Forget it, vaccums, sticky rollers, NOTHING gets dog hair out of fabric Buck did great at class, and the chicken tacos are a mere put together, no cooking, so I'm good to go...
