Everyday it is something new and they never fail to make me laugh.
Yesterday it was Rooby Roo (Rocky). Every time the door bell rings he barks...runs to the door, grumbles and woofs. One pizza commercial has the some door bell ring in it and he barks and grumbles and woofs. SO....we were outside yesterday enjoying the weather, waiting for the kids to come home. I decided to be silly and ring the door bell to see what he would do. He ran to the door, looked inside and barked, twisted his head all around looking, still woofing. Poppy and I were both cracking up at him! (You had to be here I am sure....)
Today, Molly rarely barks, but I am in the kitchen, she barks. I come out and she is trying to lure me over close to my desk downstairs. I say "Silly girl. what are you barking at? There is no one here???" I go back to the kitchen. She barks again, I peek out. She is staring down towards my desk again. I ignore her. I just came down stairs to sit down....she runs over to my feet, turns around and barks again!! Then I start cracking up!! She is barking at mounted steer longhorns that I just brought in from the garage and set on the floor. I reassured her there was no cow attatched and laughed at her. She is still bothered by them. She keeps coming over and sniffing them. I guess before she ended up at the pound she lived on a farm?????!!!!!!!
Maybe she's protecting you from those bones 'cause she knows something you don't about them. Are you sure they don't move around at night, when you're asleep?
MPP, I swear we have the same dogs!! LOL, Mollie used to bark at nothing and now she's got Chopper doing it too. Must be that the Mollie/Mollys look alike and Chopper and Rocky look alike?? LOL, that's too funny. Mine do stupid stuff like that all the time and Chopper is definitely the clown of the house.
Aren't they fun though?? lol I can't get enough of these guys. As my kids get older and push me away...you know, the whole teenager phase (They'll want me back one day!! lol) I find myself growing closer and closer the little mutts.
