In about an hour I am going to a big picnic get together thing at the stables where my mom boards her horses. I was going to bring Bosco, but mom says it would be better to wait until tomorrow when there's not an event going on there, since there will be a big crowd consisting of not only the barn people, but other guests as well, who might be afraid of my big silly dog. I can't wait to go , though. There is a new baby horse there and they say he frisks and bucks and is just adorable!
Thank you! That's not where I live, or my parents. It is a place where they pay rent for the horses to live there. My parents have both wanted horses all their lives, and finally got them about 2 years ago. It makes me happy to see how much they enjoy them. They do all the cleaning and grooming and feeding themselves and it is clear that they love every minute of it!
I am still lucky, though, to have such a caring family who have taught me by their example, from the time I was born, that pets are part of the family, too. And my kids LOVE to ride the horses. I think they might even be good at it one day!
lol...i grew up with a horde of pets too. I don't think there was a day when we didn't have a pet of some kind (usually dogs and horses). They say having pets relieves stress. Most of the time i think they're right.....lol
Pretty horses. My mom and dad have some...I grew up w/horses. Wish I was rich, I would have one... I think the thing about being good for stress is just that after screaming, yelling, and running in circles, because of your animals, your lungs and circulatory system, are flushed free of toxins, and you are too tired to be stressed by anything else
