I may have to take her to the vet. Today while playing with her outside she decided to jump extremely high which she never tries. She has HD in both hips one being worse than the other. Well when she jumped I knew it wasn't going to be a good landing. She landed on the worse hip first twisting it in then landing on it twisted. She screamed in pain but got right back up wanting to play more, I would not play with her. When we got back inside she wasn't walking on it and still is not. She took her afternoon nap and when she got up she could barley move. I'm going to wait it out til Monday and see how she is then, she gets like this in the winter when it is cold. She didn't break anything i've already checked that out, I think maybe she is just twisted it pretty bad or pulled a muscle. Now she's sleeping, i'm trying to keep a 16 month old away from his best buddy so she can rest, he's not to happy with me!
I do give her Escter C and I also give her Vit. C chewables. She usually shows no signes unless it is very cold or she does something like this. She normally knows better and doesn't jump that high, I don't know what she was thinking today odviously she wasn't. In a lil while when my son geos to bed i'm going to fill the tub up and give her a warm bath that sometimes helps her.
