I noticed that since I cleaned her litter boxes on Friday, that I haven't had to scoop poop since then, but she has peed. She hasn't been begging me for food like she usually does. I did get her to eat some yogurt and a few Tender Vittles (her treats, Purina) today. I can also feel her spine easily. If she won't eat by tomorrow, I want to take her to the vet tomorrow as soon as possible. They accept walk ins as far as I know. I don't want her to get dehydrated so I'm going to take a little syringe and give her water. I also forgot to say, she will be 14 years old next month.
Any ideas on what it could be? Mom says she has days she won't eat and doesn't feel good, and I'm hoping that's what it is. We're all so worried....=(
I hope everything is ok...I'd have her checked out as soon as you can. I know that if you can feel the spine real easy, she is loosing weight fast. I know from experience they can go down hill pretty fast. I'll keep you in my prayers...let us know what happenes.
she does get hairballs, but very rarely. She is on purina indoor formula, and it helps alot. I hope it's something simple as that. I will definitely take her tomorrow, if there's a risk shell go down hill fast. =(
My boss is going thru the same type of thing with his big puddy tat. He's big. He had been vomiting. He's getting better and seems hungry but not pooping much. Blood work was good. We shall see. Hope your cat gets better.
