Well then, What breed does your parents love. That would be good to go with. They like poodles right. How about an Irish water spaniel. I think they look pretty cool. They are still in the hunting skeam of things, as you have a hunting type of dog already(LAb) And you did try out the poodle. An Irish water spaniel is almost like a cross of lab and poodle. And quite honestly I have seen some labrdoodles that look very much like them.
