heart murmur, and going under anesthesia?

Is it dangerous for a 14 year old cat? The vet said on 4/19 she had a slight heart murmur and she has to go under anesthesia to get her teeth cleaned monday. I'm worried...My dad keeps saying  "I hope she makes it through the weekend" That's real discouraging even though I am force feeding her with a syringe every 2 hours. =(

I would think just being 14 would be more of a risk.  But really if you have a vet that knows whats going on and is very familiar with murmurs etc, things should be ok.  I think we worry even when they are 100 %fine too. The vet would not so it if he thought it was too much danger.

I'm just stressing big time. shew. She only has to deal with it for 2 more days and then maybe she will want to eat better.

I would think it is very risky (without the hear murmur) to put a 14 year old cat to sleep!!! I would definitely get a 2nd opinion!
