Here in Tennessee we'd be paralyzed for a week with a snow like that!  If we're lucky we'll get one snow thats about 3 inches.  We just LOVE it (well, some of us do...lol).  IN 1994 we fot 8 inches and were down for a month!  Our power was out for 9 days....lol.  It was a huge snow/ice storm.

It's funny that what is just a nice little snow to ya'll can totally wipe us out down here!  It's very pretty though.  We didn't get any good snows this year.  Just a couple of dustings and manye 2 inches one time.

I'm so glad I moved away from snow it's so much prettier looking at it in pics! LOL

If it was to snow here in Florida the whole state would stop I swear! My first Chiristmas here there was snow but it melted right when it hit the ground, so many people had their heat on that there was a power shortage and they shut down certain parts of the state to transfer their power to the other part. It was a huge mess!

The weather here lately we have been loving! highes around 75-79 and at night about 52-60, which is extremely odd for this time of year. Usually we are around 85-90 and low 80's to high 70's at night. It's been great here, but I know it will change and we will have our usual 5 o'clock showers again with temps in the high 90's with humidity around 70% +.

Well it was nice to see that others are having "good weather" while we are getting blanketed here...I know that in areas where it doesnt snow much if at all...would be crippled...we are used to it..except most everyone has taken off the snow blades off the trucks and dont have scraping services at this late date...The roads really were bad..we went out Saturday for pizza...town is 15 miles one way..and the drive was tretcherious.but we have an expedition and it has 4 wheeled drive...and we did fine..but people were all over the ditches. And today we took a littel girl home that spent the night with my youngest..and the conditions were blizzard..complete white out..it was really bad...So..I hope it is over tomorrow and begins to melt. I have a well and I can apprecaite all the moisture we can get..which ever form it is..I loved getting news from Stormy about her good weather..What I wouldnt do for temps over 32 right about now...lol..2 days before the snow we had 86 here..go figure...Only in Michigan

Well, I know all about the mud.  They are a mess today with it!  Of course, if Rocky would let my yard come in and stop digging it up, that would help a little.

Today the sun is shining bright, still cold, and the wind sounds like our house is bowing over! lol

I WANT TO LAY OUT IN THE SUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  C'mon stupid weather....GET WARM!!

Well right now it's 49 and raining and the wind is blowing like heck. It's supposed to go down to the 30's tonight! Yuck! But at least it's not snow. Tomorrow & Wed. are supposed to fairly nice - 60's and dry and then back to rain again.

Im so fed up with mud..99% of the snow has melted and the ground isnt soaking it all up..i have like 3 acres of lawn that we mow..and it is almost all under water...The dogs are coming in covered in mud...I am going to pull my hair out if it doest dry up soon...we are suposed to get a few decent days..but then come next week 3 to 4 days of rain follow...so..we will not dry out for a while..We got to the mid 50's today...better then the 30's we had...

We are having issues with flooding again in Ohio...back in January we were forced out of our house. We could have stayed but the entire town was completey surrounded and you couldn't go anywhere for a week. Everyone was rushing out of town on the last open road as it slowly was going under water!  What a mess.   Now in Chagrin Falls....the rivers are running fast and flooding homes again! SHeesh...does this mess ever stop??

Hey! All you people in the cold areas could always go lay in teh tanning beds. Then at least you could have the feeling of laying out. Plus you would also get a nice tan. I go tan almost everyday and I love it. I find it relaxing.

I would love to have a tanning bed, but the one I want cost in the 30 thousand dollar range. I have a membership somewhere and it is pretty cheap. Probably cheaper a month than what owning one would cost me in electricity.
