dogs

I love my dogs but sometimes there are little tiny things that they do that bug me, kind of like when u live with roomates and some of the things they do bug u.

One of these things is everytime i put on socks, shoes, or pants, they are all surronding me sniffing the socks, shoes, etc...I know its natural for dogs to sniff but i just like to put on my shoes and socks quickly with out having to dodge 3 noses to do it. Is that stupid? Sorry this is so random but i was just putting on socks and this happened.

Is there anything your dogs do that slighty bug you?

Kitty stomps in a circle and stares holes in me when I am trying to sleep. Stomp, stomp, stomp, stare, over and over. It actually makes me laugh, so it is hard to drown out the little pattering and sleep, I banished her to Megan's kennel in the back room, and slept real well, today... Megan is real quiet, but koo-koo.

Farley has one habit that bugs the daylights out of me.  If he thinks I've been on the PC too much he sticks his muzzle under my right elbow & lifts up.  If I ignore him he will get on the bed right behind my chair & put one paw on each of my shoulders, whine & start pushing.  This is his way of telling me it's his turn for some attention but he usually does it when I'm right in the middle of something!

Rocky has that staring thing down!!  His eyes are so human like anyway, so sometimes it really starts to get to me.  I have to make him go lay with Dad!!!    Molly has thing about growling/moaning at me from the ledge above my computer...right in my face. Since I work from my puter it tends to get to me. But, ya know...when you look at the big picture....the very reason they do these things is probably because we are getting on their nerves by not doing what they want us to do!!   lol    Life is a circle.....

Milo bites his nails..........lol  Hayley....hmmmm.....other than the fact that she is timid and scares easily, not much of anything.

Oscar is just up my butt when I am home. It would be different if he didn't weigh 160 and stand 3 foot at the shoulder. And he always stands in front of the TV when something good is on. And he moans a lot.

Couch potatoe dogs are an annoyance to me.

That is very sad :( How could someone let their dog get to that point?? Mine are a lil overweight, but only by a pound or two. Nothing much. Nothing even anywhere near that bad!!
Mollie likes to come under the covers with me. Sometimes she gets up when I only have like 20 more min. till the alarm goes off, and then I can't get back to sleep. I'm a REAL grouch when you wake me up.

Chopper likes to sit on my lap when I'm on the puter and nudge his head right up under my hand whenever I try to type something. That gets annoying and I shove him off on the floor. Then I feel bad. Dogs are so funny, they all have their own personalities and lil quirky things they do, don't they??

Shady our first shepherd will flip her muzzle under your arm and God help you if you have a cup of coffee in your hand...Which has happened to me several times...And yes it goes all over...topper licks the floor...for no reason..if you yell at him about it..he will lick the air.. Sam is overly playful and has put a bit mark on half of the dogs snouts...he mouths the muzzle as a greeting and he goes over board...Minnie is a glutton...she will bite your arm off to the elbow if you give her a treat and dont watch it..Scandal hears when my husbands feet hit the ground and she starts squaking...schnauzers have a high pitched noise they make..very annoying..Tima is sweet...a bit submissive...but with Sam...I guess it is understndable..And that leaves Shamus...about the only thing that he does is dig..and comes in all dirty on his beard and feet..and then of corse he wants to jump on your leg...
