So, my grad is coming up soon (june 4), and i just decided within the last week that i want to go.  So guess where i went today.......shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've gotten almost everything i need to get so far.  I got the dress it's halter style, and it's teel/turquoise color.  and i've got the white shall, and the white shoes, and the white purse, and the necklace to match the dress.  so the only thing i have left to get is earrings! (anything i'm forgetting???) and then have to find a way for me and my bf to get there! and other than that everythings done, i think! so yeah....i just wanted to share! lol

Congrats to you...is this the Associates, BA, Masters? My Hubby gratuates with his BA too..I want to have a party for him but need the finances to settle down some first so i can see how much I can spend. His commencments are June 3...I wish you the best..enjoy the ceremony and the evening out with BF...what a special time..And believe me..when you get old..you need good memories to sustain you...lol...so have fun now...take care

Congrats on the graduation!!!!  Your attire sounds beautiful!  Do they not use can and gowns anymore?  Or is this just for when you take the C&G off?  I was wondering if it was different in different parts of the country?  Here, the C&G stays on the entire time.....even after the ceremony is over.

CONGRATS!!!  Save some money and go half/half with your bf to pay for a LIMO.  I rode in one to New York and it was really cool(u probably have gone in one already too, though).

and ansy, as for the c&g, we wear that only for the commencement (sp?), happening in june is our dinner and dance! the commencement is in september!
