Regarding the posts recently made by Acey, I did a little searching because I also found this to be out of character (somewhat) for her.

I checked the IP that was used when Acey first registered on this forum.  I then check the IP of each post she had made here in the last day or two.  Every single post made on this forum is accosiated with the IP of the computer from which it posts.  If someone had hacked into Acey's account, it would have displayed a different IP.  It didn't.  Every post that I checked was in fact made by the same IP that was first used to register her name.

I decided to take it a step further and check her email.  Acey is registered under a 'free' email account here so I thought "well, it could have been anyone".  I then find on TP where Acey posts her email address publicly.  It is the same email as used to register her account on The Furum.

Explanation for her behavior?  My guess is that she is moving into a new chapter in her life and won't be visiting the forums any longer.  This has been bottled up inside her for a while and she is just now letting it out, knowing that it wont matter if she is banned since she wont be here on the forums anyway.  It just goes to show that you just never know about people.  Acey wreaks of jealousy and hatred. 

The one thing I love the most here is that no one cares whether I am a college grad or a high school drop out.  They don't care what I do for a living.  They don't throw it in my face that I must think I am better than everyone else.  I don't know what most of you do for a living, but I will say that Kittys Mom has a job that is 20 times harder than mine ever will be.  Maybe I am more fortunate than others here, but that does not make me any better than any of them.  I don't do what I do for money.  Yes, it pays well, but I got into it because I have walked in their shoes.  I have been the pregnant teenager, the single mom, the welfare statistic, the person who feels useless.  I have been all of those things and it made me want to get out of it.  I don't see myself as an arrogant person at all, but evidently others do.  Ironically, its the ones who never took the time to get to know me that see me like that.

Those are the people who don't know that I rescued a lab last November and didn't know a thing about how to handle a rescue.  Those are the people who didn't offer advice when I had questions about what to do.  They are also the same people who don't know that that same dog has come such a long way and we able to feed him from our hands and play with him now.  Those people are never around to see me call myself a nerd or a dork when I do something totally stupid.

The members of this forum have gotten to know me through posts and pics.  They know that I squirt aloe vera gel on my son and tell him he got covered in green slime, they know I lost someone who was like a child to me in a fatal car accident earlier this year, they know thay we are remodeling our house, and that one of my dogs likes to eat bumblebees and drink cherry vanilla dr. pepper.  They know that my oldest son has ADHD, my father is a butcher and that my grandfather had a stroke a few months back.  They know that my husbands dream vacation is a trip to Amsterdam because he enjoys a little smoke every once in a while.

The people here have gotten to know me and they don't judge me.  They may not agree with me or things I say or do, but they don't judge and ridicule me.  What does Acey know about me?  Not much of anything to be honest.  Acey and I have never 'talked'.  She knows what her TP friends tell her.  I would expect this from Scout or Crickermom.  We have had words at one point or another.....but not Acey.  Maybe a few back and fourth comments, but not anything in detail.

Acey, its time to be a leader and not a follower.  Don't ya think?

I say Congrats on her college graduation and wish her much success in the future.

Hello, I have a "puggle". You may or may not know this, but puggles are not an actual breed of dog, they're a mix. Usually the mom is a pug & the dad a beagle.

Right now I have a pug/beagle mix named Summer, who is 9 months old. While she is *very* adorable, she is quite bad and I have many horror stories about her lol. Many "breeders" will tell you that puggles do not bay (howl) like a beagle. Let me tell you, they do! Summer howls like a maniac, especially when she is left alone or when someone comes in the door.

They love to chew and will eat anything and everything they can get their paws on. My brand new bed has two holes in the matress (one hole on each side) and the box spring lining has been torn off and is now a hide out for Summer...she actually crawls into the box spring to take naps, no matter how hard I try to block under the bed.

My "puggle" is pretty shy, I dont know why. I socialized her a lot when she was a puppy and still do now. She doesnt like to be pet by strangers and does not like children. She quivers when she is around people she doesn't know and they try to corner her to pet her.
