Tonight it sounds like I'm living next to some sort of metal refinery...lol
Last Saturday we had an old garage torn down and all of the metal from it was placed into one pile. It hasn't been hauled off yet. Hector, our goat, is having a party on it. I was sitting here reading some threads and began hearing this awful sound. Like a mix of thunder and metal...lol
I turned on the flood light and there is Hector perched right on top of this pile of metal doing his little goat dance. I know its waking the neighbors...lol.
If thats not bad enough, I seen Ivan and Piper running in the back yard with a KFC box in their mouth....shredding it to pieces. Guess my son didn't put the trash in the trash can once again. Looks like it's going to be a fun morning when I get up.
This pile of metal is right outside of our bedroom window......so its gonna be fun trying to sleep with Hector doing the Super Freak on the pile. I don't know why I find humor in this but I do. It's like looking out the window and seeing my kids running wild....lol. Sometimes you just let them do it.
I sure wish they'd invite me to their little late night parties every once in a while.
I have experienced the late night romps with the garbage!! The back yard is so pretty the next morning. I have also experienced Rocky shreddeding my patio chair cushions...it looks like it snowed all over the yard when he does this. That was when we first got him, I hope he is over it, because if he does that to our new furniture I fear Russ may not let him live through it!! lol (jk) But the cool thing about this furniture is, it has little velcro strips to strap it to the chair, I don't think he can get them this time!!!!!
A goat! That is too funny, I need one...does he help keep the grass level down?? lol
I love goats!! Is it a pygmy goat, Ansy?? I think goats are all so cute!! If I lived on a farm, I would have several of them and a bunch of dogs too. lol.
I have to deal with dogs shredding things too a lot lately. I think it's just because we're in the process of moving and are leaving things out that we normally don't, so I'm hoping it's just a phase. Also have to deal with them pooping on the floor every time I leave them at home!!! Lil sh*ts!! lol. I'd rather have poo than pee, but still!! They just do it out of spite, I let them out right before I left yesterday and there was still poop on the floor when I got back, 2 hours later!! They are such brats!!!
The Super Freak, you're too funny. I must have glanced at this before I went to bed last night, because some dream of mine had some goats in it. Now, when I get back to sleep, they will be dancing to a soundtrack with dogs running amok. Grrrreaaaat....
he's not a pigmy.....just a regular goat.......who thinks he is a dog since he 'hangs' with the dogs...lol
he does keep the grass eat down alot. Thats why we got him. He makes for a great weed eater. he'd be a house-goat if we let him. he loves to come inside.
We live right in the city....so its a wonder we haven't been reported for having him....lol, but we have great neighbors - they like him too!
