IM NEW here & Why was Dusty Kicked off T.P?

  Hey!  Im actually 763Melani on TP discussion Board.  Wondering why Dusty was "kicked off the other board?" 


  I hate my screen name I created for the "other" board ,so I changed it for this one.  I was wondering also what all the controversy was about on this one.  It doesnt look bad as far as I can see!  Of course Ive only been here for 30 mins. or so-but anyways-HELLO!!! 


If you see this Dusty-How did you get kicked off the other board?  What did you say?

I did like the other board-but why do other people like this one so much more?  Just wondering!

Hello Mel!  Welcome to The Furum.  I'm not sure why Dusty was banned at TP, but I'm sure someone will come along with an explanation. 


To answer your question about why people like it better here......


I don't think they like it 'better'.......I just think they like it because it is different.  It is  a pet forum but we don't confine ourselves within the walls of animals.  We chat about anything here.  People like the flexibility of being able to discuss whatever happens to be on their mond at the moment and also have access to people who can offer advice on their pets.


I don't see one forum as being any better than the other.  They just have different things to offer.

i am glad you came over here .you were one of my favorites on tp ! i wish i could tell you what happened but i really dont know . my original post wasnt rude at all and after it got to the fourth page ,that cricketmom came on and started hasseling me about a comment i made about not going to chats. that acey person came there and wanted people to go to a chat and i didnt want to get into that one because they were having problems. i said something about people getting so mad in chats and i didnt mean anyone of these chats and she started in on me until i finally got mad. and then all i said was i am who i am and i am outspoken and honest and if that is the only qualities that i can contribute then so be it and if certain people didnt like me . oh well. i will still go to sleep and wake up who i am ...me. next thing i knew i was kicked off......from what i have heard she has done that to several others. she has no business being a mod. they are supposed to be impartial. not decide they dont like someone and boot them

Not that I know of!  I have had disagreements with opinions.  I wouldnt say I have been rude.  Actually WHEN ive posted to alot of things on TP, I OFTEN held myself back!  Still , I am wondering whats up with getting the boot off the TP site????  What did you do that is so bad?  I logged in there once this morning quickly, then I had to go!  So I missed all the big controversy.  OH-  I just thought of something.  When I logged in this AM I did say that most pug mixes Ive seen are not as cute as Pugs!  Except a Cocker/Pug mix that I met that was a doll!!  I also said it was my opinion.  Thats all!!  Anyways, I know there is people that think pugs are not cute or that my Olde English Bulldogge is not the greatest-even though I know she is!  Or AKA the most beutiful dog in the world!  Physically and Personality wise.  Its all a matter of opinion, I never thought giving my HONEST opinion was rude!

sorry, i just didnt word it right. what i meant was have you ever seen me being rude to anyone .  i try to help when i can . and i can never get too much advice. lol . i have always been the peacemaker in my family. they always call me and ask for advice or help and i end up smoothing things over. i dont like fighting or arguing. and it takes an awful lot to get me mad. i guess i am a good listener. lol . i am glad i didnt listen to those people on tp though. i have only been here a day and already feel way more comfortable here. i am glad you came over . its nice to know that i have some people here that will at least stick up for me over there. because a few of them cm is one and i wont mention the others seem to stick together and have been very rude to people on there an cm doesnt delete their comments or post.

Hello to the both of you...I have greatly enjoyed both of your posts in the past and look forward to the future. I just love the pics that you both posted..I think the boxer is strikingly beautiful and I just love frenchies and bulldogs are my most favorite dogs ever...even though I opted not to buy them because i have the worst luck and I was afraid of the health issues..Murpheys law you know..I just wanted to jump in with my 2 cents and say hello...I am one of the growing number who enjoys both places and visit many more forums to gain knowledge..Good seeing you...Take care.

  • Hi, I am new (as you could have or could not have heard), I have 4 pets, 2 dogs (a seven year old english setter male and a 13 week old cocker spaniel female), and I have 2 doemestic chort haired cats (both were adopted, one is 5 years old and the other is 3 years old)

Welcome to Daisysmom and lovinOEBs!!!  I am so glad we are getting more great members.  Lovin- your dogs are georgous!!!!  My neighbor just got 2 pug puppies and i melt every time i see them....lol  I'm happy you both decided to join.  Even though there are tifs here, everyone is great and Ansy is an awesome admin......so enjoy
