Getting 2 more cats (sortof)

Well my bf is moving into the Farm (thats what i call my house with 3 dogs and one cat) Anyways he has two cats. One is an Ocicat about 8 months old, the other is a DSH about 10 weeks old. I'm not too worried about everyone getting along, i know it might take some time or they could hit it off right away. I was going to do what i did when i got Izzy and block the new guys off to a certain part of the house so everyone can get use to seeing and smelling eachother, then gradually introducing the new guys to the dogs one at a time.

My only concern I have is the kitten. He is so small. My dogs play with Isabelle my cat all the time. Especially Sydney, they both jump on eachother and play for hours. I know my Sydney wouldnt hurt the kitten, but i do know she will try to play with it like she does with Isabelle. Since the kitten is so small I dont want him getting hurt, also he is so small he cant get away as quick as Izzy can when she has had enough. He also cant jump high at all unless he scales something he can get his claws into.

I know if I have my waterbottle out I could squirt Sydney and she will stop, but i also know she will keep trying. If the kitten wasnt so small i wouldnt worry b/c he could defend himself. When I leave Syd gets crated so it will be fine when no one is home.

Another question is about Izzy meeting the new cats. I think the kitten is young enough that the kitten wont be a problem at all. The older cat adjusted to the kitten after one day so i am hoping he will adjust to izzy too. They did meet once when i brought izzy to his house, they hissed a little but Izzy didnt seem fazed, she walked around like she owned the place. As long as they arnt attacking eachother is it ok to leave all the cats out when no one is home during the first couple days?

So after he moves in we will have 3 dogs and 3 cats. Luckily he doesnt have any dogs or that would have been crazy. His cats are awesome and just play with eachother all day long, when they are done they sleep together. I hope Izzy bonds with them so she can play and have company. I'm pretty excited about my bf moving in. Except i got to get my best friend to move out, but thats a whole differnt story..lol. Anyways any advice would be great! Thanks!

When i first introduced my new cat to the first cat, the first cat hissed and growled all the time but after a week or so, they were cleaning each other........lol  Maybe what helped was that the newer cat hurt his leg right after we got him so my other cat decided to take care of him...hehe  They will get it on their own.

As for the dog and the kitten, maybe keep the kitten seperate from the dog except when you are holding it, until it gets a little bigger.  Not sure how to help on that one.  My dogs chased my newer cat when he was a kitten but luckily the kitten could hide in small places better.

Good luck.
