Im in central california and it gets hotter than hell here! It's only 85 today though, and I have had my air on.I hate it,we get a few decent energy bills then time to turn the ac on.Ours is a dry heat also, which i guess is better that the Texas humid heat that I have experienced.
Yeah i'm in Arizona. I try to wait as long as i can to turn the A/C on........lol It gets expensive.
Pitpat- What area of AZ are you in? I am SE. Dry heat........lol.......i love that. Or the bumper stickers that say "watch out for blowing mud"........lol Sooooo true!
We just now turned the air on here in GA. Not sure of the temp. Funny, I was okay all winter weight-wise, but now that it's getting hot, I notice that I need exercise. I would have thought that i would get heavier during the winter months when I stay inside at all costs, and be smaller now that I am outside everyday. Maybe I am just getting older and slowing in the metabolism area...
Shiny,Just wait, your metabolism hasn't done nothing yet sweetie..It is all but fun getting olderI use to be so small people always accused me of doing drugs,I hated it.I use to have to drink weight on,Hell now I'd die for something called weight off....lolOh well,we gotta love mother nature.Well I said in an early post that it was 85 yesterday, the news said 89 last night.Today its cloudy and windy. It suppose to reach 100 on Sunday.UGH! I hate the heat.
My husband said the humidity in Houston was horrible. He said that he would be dripping just going to get in his car.I know the summer we went to Texas I thought I was going to die at the stockyards one day.Felt like I was having a heatstroke. We had to leave.
110 degrees, no problem. Believe it or not, but we don't have AC in our house. We have only an evap cooler. My Husband says it costs less to run. But he has promised AC in the future.
We have a window AC in the bedroom, so the dogs and I stay there all summer and watch Animal Planet.
You know, even with the heat, i love being in Arizona. It's so sunny and flowers blooming everywhere and all the exoctic sounding birds here. All we need is the beach.......lol
They say the next big earth quake in CA or off in the Pacific some where, you just might be able to stick your umbrella in the sand and feed the seagulls cheetos.
