That's awesome! Do they accept one regardless of breed? I own the evil vicious nasty breed that might just maul all the hotel guests and knock down the whole friggin hotel LOL. For real though, are they okay with all breeds?
According to their recent commercials in our area....they have really updated them. Not sure if that means all of them, but I would think if they have the name...they would have to follow with the changes. I know a couple I stayed in were down right scary but others were pretty decent.
Shiny- like your dancing guy. Not sure about the breed being an issue. It says you just have to notify them at check-in (didn't say you had to show them)..hee hee.
This Red Roof is in Chandler AZ. I will let you know what it looks like when we return on Monday.
It looked very nice from the outside. We stayed at the Prime right in front of it for 3X the cost and couldn't bring Chason. We just bought 2 rentals there...so we're going on a mini-vacay!! Yeah! I love the Gila River Casino ( I won $2500 there 2 months ago, so maybe I'm biased)...
I've stayed in some Bestwesterns and Holiday Inns that will take dogs...not sure about any breeds. There is a website that tells you dog friendly Hotel/Motels....don't know what it is though....
Just thought I would let you all know of a place called Superior Inn. It is in Superior, Wisconsin. Its right next to Duluth, Minnesota. Its a popular, very scenic area with lots of cool things to do and see! You can see Lake Superior of course, the Split Rock Lighthouse, Goosebury Falls {VERY Pretty!} And so much more then I have time to list! And we always have brought our Pugs there too! They love dogs there! The owners have dogs, and love them all! We havent went up there since we adopted Mia, but I will bring her too next time! Not a 5 star place- but comfortable, clean, and pool and hottub! Thought Id recommend it since its a great place to go with the Furkids!!
Well this Red Roof Inn in Chandler Arizona was clean, and in a great location. Chason had a blast!! They say that the dog shouldn't be left unattended but we talked to the Front Desk and told them Chason was good and we would only be gone to dinner...and they said ,"no problem, leave us your cell number and we'll call you if there's a problem." We got no call, and the little rascal enjoyed some left over steak and chicken for being a good boy. Just wanted to let all of you know...that this hotel is a-ok for your furbabies!!
I think if people use crates and leashes, and the hotels are more confident that your dog won't dig up the carpet or gnaw on the table legs, or bite/offend other guests, the dogs would be more welcome. Just that rules for one, apply to all. In their case, it is better to be safe than sorry.
