I just finished on-line grocery shopping!

Paige and I have already talked about this. She likes her time "away" at the grocery store. However, I love on-line shopping at Albertson's! I buy mostly the same things over and over, so once I order and I can just go back and select the same thing and add anything else I want to it. I it so, so convenient. I can clean house while waiting on the groceries. I usually do it on Wednesdays, because they give a 5% discount on Wednesdays, but I had to work this last Wed. and missed it. Regular charge is $9.95 which is an added expense, but sometimes when I am too exhausted to head out to the grocery store, I love it. There is NO convenient grocery store near where I live.


Downside is there is not a very good fruit selection, so I still have to go somewhere for fruit. You have to have at least $100.00 worth of groceries, but it is not hard to do that! I think Albertson's prices are a little higher than say, Walmart...


If you don't like delivery, you can have it ready to pick up at the store for $4.95...


Just thought I would share this convenience with you.

Publix in my area has been doing that for a long time now. You order and you will recive them the next day. I think Oasis needs the option right now with her foot the way it is! LOL


I have never thought about buying my groceries online I guess I just like to pick out my own things that way I know it is right. Ya know what I mean???

Yeah- we use to have grocery.com and it had very limited selection and was very high. I tried it once and was not very impressed. However, I have been pleasantly surprised with this. I guess if I spent less time on the computer and more time going to the grocery store, I wouldn't have to do it. But it is just great when you don't feel like getting out!

My mom used to use Webvan every week. It made her so happy not to have to deal with the grocery store. Unfortunately, they didn't stay in business long, and I don't think there are any grocery delivery services that serve our area. We have a publix... maybe I should check and see if they do the delevery thing.

I would have definitely done this if it was available when my kids were little!  A one hour shopping trip took half the flipping day by the time I got all three of us out of the house, changed diapers, nursed one, fed the other....


Now, I LOVE to go to the store ALL BY MYSELF....funny the things I find relaxing now!!

I used to do Peapod.  But the delivery times were crummy and the prices were high, so I quit.  But I must say it was nice when the groceries just showed up at the door.

I have never heard of such a thing. I live in the middle of nowhere.....doubt I can find that here. I WISH!!  lol  I HATE grocery shopping!

Moencat....lol....I'm like you.  I find grocery shopping so relaxing.  I leave the kids with hubby and go spend an hour or more just browsing the aisles....lol


I can see people liking the online thing though......very convenient.

I HATE shopping!  I am just like a guy....lol   Go in, get it and get out!  I procrastinate soooo bad and wait until i HAVE to go.

I love going grocery shopping. But I can go to the store for like 5 things and end up with 30. It drives Brad crazy. But when I am in a good mood I go to Walmart and if I just want to get in and out I go to United.

I can't stand shopping for ANYTHING. I have even ordered clothes online. When the money is coming in, I am more than willing to pay more for simplicity and convenience.
