Big red blotches, not itching much anymore though!

I dont know if anyone remembers me asking skin questions or not!  Mia was very itchy and so I tried giving her more oatmeal baths, as well as cream my fiance bought at the store.  Its Hartz Hydrocortisone Spot {with aloe} for dogs and cats.  It really totally helped with all the itching on her nose especially!  But now she hasnt been itching and shes got a big red blotch on the inside of her theigh.  And two smaller ones under one front arm.  And the worst part is I think shes loosing hair on blotches on her cheast area!  The skin on the areas of hairloss is really dry, and scalie looking. I think she may have mange!  What is it caused from, and how is it cured?  I thought I read somewhere its a tricky one to cure!  We have 2 others too, I hope its not catchy!

Sydney got demodex mange 3 months ago. They say she got it b/c her immune system wasnt as strong as other dogs. They gave her 5 dips and it went away but her hair is taking forever to grow back. I believe demodex isnt contagious but the other type is. goodluck

RE: Big red blotches, not itching much anymore tho

Get a Zodiac brand dip, that is for mange mites, do the dog. Spray the house with zodiac premise spray, and the yard with a flea spray that attaches to the hose[Zodiac or other]. Throw away or disinfect old bedding.
Change the food, use Nutro natural Choice, or Ultra, or Nature's Recipe. Canidae may work.
Hair problems are bugs, or diet. Be careful to dispose properly of dips, they are toxic to cats. If you are using spots/dots for fleas, discontinue or just do the enviornment, to not overdose.
