Well, Ty may have broke his other arm last night. THe hospital wasn't positive, sending him to the orhto doc. They are worried about his growth plate in his elbow.
I swear I am going to have a bonfire with his skateboards!!! He just got the other cast off less than two months ago.
It never ends.
There I was sitting in the room and he blurts out "Well, my mom has a broken ankle and wouldn't get it checked." The doctor looked at me and I said "It is not broke, just swollen" I was so emabarassed. Kids!! Luckily, the doctor just laughed. Not that it mattered, but I could have done without my child tattletaling (sp) on me!!!!!
Make sure you feed lots of steamed carrots for the calcium, taste better with butter, or some sauce for flavor. I guess it is good that kids these days all wear helmets, huh?
Helmet! Ha....yes, he normally does, but he didn't yesterday! He actually was just messing around on a slanted drive way....they had Plastic? wheels on a skateboards and one rolled off and he tumbled the rest of the way down! I am not sure I understand this whole story....but it is his story and he is sticking to it!! lmbo
He is the one I can normally trust to give honest details, but I think he new I was going to loose my mind! lol He was so embarassed to say the wheel fell off, he told the doctor he hit a rock...I said "Why did you tell me a wheel fell off???" He said it did, but even you didn't believe it so I didn't want her to think I was crazy too!!!! lol
Ty is 13.....BUT GOOD NEWS!!! It is not broke. He actually hurt is elbow wrist and hand. It swelled up in the exact spot where he broke is left arm. Even the doc thought it was broke, but said the xrays look ok.... woohoo!
My 15 year old, has broken his arms, same spot, three times, broke an ankle, we thought he rebroke it, but luckily just injured it more rather than a break.
Me...my wrist....which by the way, I did make an appointment on Friday to have checked. Then MY ankle....still swollen and hurts like he!! but, hey, it is just one of those years I guess!!
Russ is famous for cracking his bald noggin'!!! That man has more scars on his poor head!! lol
Tell them that's why their bones keep breaking.. Have you seen that milk commercial where the kids are telling their mom the neighbor does not drink milk, and then his[the neighbor, seen thru the window while the kids are talking to mom] arms rip off at the shoulders when he trys to lift the wheelbarrow, and the neighbor looks down at the shoulder stumps, and says"oh, that's not good"? It was too funny, everytime I saw it. Actually, milk is not a good source of calcium like carrots. Canned salmon, and cod liver oil are real helpful in the uptake of calcium...Calcium is not processed w/o vitamin D. Dark skinned people and animals need more than light skinned[has to do with how much sun is absorbed through the skin]. See what I learned from Labradors?
