a couple months ago I found poop on my front lawn! It was huge and I was mad, two days later there was more poop, same dog Im guessing since it looked exactly the same. I started looking out my window more to try and catch this person in the act of not picking up after their dog but of course since I was watching I didnt catch anything. I did notice though these guys that own this Saint Bernard walking their dog down my street off leash, letting him roam on peoples lawns. I never saw him poop on my lawn, but considering the size of the poop I bet it was this dog. Anyways this happened agian yesterday! I'm so mad! Im sitting here looking out my window hoping this guy and his dog will come by and it will poop on my lawn so i can catch them. Its so annoying when people dont pick up after their dogs. I have 3 dogs and everytime i take them on walks I pick up their poop! People are so inconsiderate!


Sorry I had to vent...lol.

Oh Man, now would be a good time to get a surveilance camera. You could use it for your own saftey too, not just poo gone wrong. I would do something. That is way too much to have to pick up thats not your own dogs. Not fair.

Some people! I know it is not funny, but I can just see Sydney peeking out of the window trying to catch this gigantic dog pooping in her yard... I hope you catch him, Sydney!! :)

Syd- I sooooo know how you feel. The same thing happens where I live. Your efforts should pay off...I caught my culprit mid-log (lol), and had a hearty talk with the owner. Needless to say...no more poop for me.

Hey!!!! Don't just automatically point your finger at the giant dog just because the poop was giant. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Just joking!!! Oscar poop really isn't that big. He has petite poop. LOL!!! And to think he weighs 160.


But really I would be ticked off if a dog other than my own was pooping in my yard.

lol @ Paige! I think its the Saint Bernard not just cause of the size of its poop...lol...but b/c it is the only dog walked off leash on this street.


Since I have been watching of course I havnt even seen the guy or dog. I am trying to figure out where they live so i can put the poop ontheir lawnbut i think they live in an apartment, so if they do that wont work...lol.


Video camera is a good idea, i got one on my camera, I'll make sure it is close, but I cant set it up as survalience, i have no way to do that, i wish i did though.


If I catch him I'll let you all know!

I have a neighbor that has cute little ceramic dogs on her lawn and each one says something....put them in line and they say "please...do not....poop.....on my......lawn".  Not sure if they help though but they are cute.  The one that says "poop" is crouching......lol

Well, you could bag it, and put a sweet note that says..."You dropped this by accident on my front lawn. A proper reward would be keeping you dog off my yard, or picking up after him." Or just, "You dropped this, I am returning it, you're welcome".
