My family and I will soon be moving. We are moving about 30 miles outside of Nashville on a little piece of land we have been fortunate enough to buy. Due to this, and our work schedules, my time will be very limited here over the next few weeks. I will try to log on at least once a day to check PM's, however, any urgent questions should be directed to a moderator.
I've had a few positive questions about husbands/wives/significant others joining the forum under the same IP. I have no problem with that. I think it wonderful for our other halves to get involved. Due to it being the same IP, this is how it will be handled:
If one should get out of hand, their user account will be deleted. That way the IP is not banned and the other member can still participate in the discussions. If the deleted member signs up under a new account again, the IP will be banned and no one on that IP will be able to use their accounts under that IP.
I don't see any problems with this, but wanted to clear it up before any questions arose about it. I love seeing the guys here. It gives a whole new flavor to the forum. You don't need to ask permission for a spouse to join since I wont be here very much, but just make sure the mods know it is your spouse. That way, (if someone flips out) they wont ban your IP and can instead notify me of the username so I can just delete the account. If by chance, they ban the IP and you cannot access the site, I will correct the problem on my next login. Remember, we are all human and can all make mistakes. Once a mod bans an IP they cannot unban it. I will have to do that, so if it happens, just be patient and I will allow the good spouse back in (that sounded funny...lol).
As far as The Furum Home Page being down, I was told it would be up no later than today, but it still isn't. I have been assured that it will be up by tomorrow evening at the latest. They are finished with maintenance, but still have a handful of sites that are down. I am on them daily, but my hands are tied. Sometimes these things happen.
I will try to squeeze in as much time as possible to be here, but my time is just very limited. We are very excited about moving. Our animals will have so much more room to play and a pond of their very own. Again, the mods can help you with any questions you have, just be sure to give them ample time to answer you. You can still PM me with issues, but it may be a day or 2 before I respond.
If anyone would like to help me pack, please let me know.....lol (jk)

Oh, I like the flavor of men, too. Um, the flavor they have when they post. Um, the good taste they express when....oh, never mind. Just bring your men so I can play with them...
Thanks ya'll. We feel so blessed to be able to do this. If it weren't for us being given a house then we couldn't have. I haven't been out of school that long, and two years of my practicing have been unpaid (clinicals). It was only recently that I began getting paid for what I do (the end of last year). This time last summer I was as broke as they come (still am...lol, got too many student loans). But we were able to sell a place that was given to us and use that money to pay over half of what this place cost us. We have a monthly note now, but we'll do ok.
Had my mother-in-law not given us this house, there is no way we could have bought this place right now. Ironically, it is only about 3 miles from where I grew up so that makes it more special to me. My parents are so excited that the grandkids will be closer now.
This really is a true blessing for us. We'll have a "fainting goat" party when we get settled in and you are all invited!....lol.
Its 5AM. I have to get to sleep.....will be moving some things tomorrow (today...lol)! Yay!
Congrats on the move, Ansy!! You better get a whole herd of those fainting goats for your goat to play with!! He may scare one and then become afraid that he killed it or something so he'd have to go to another one to play, lol. Hurry back and don't be a stranger now!! Have fun packing and unpacking!! I know how fun it is to do that , lol
