......and I have officially come to the conclusion that this place runs smoother without me....lol. The moderators did a wonderful job and we have a few new members I see!
I will be unpacking (ugh!) and I still wont be on much, but hopefully I can be back chatting soon! Going without the internet for 2 days was hard...lol. It was during those 2 days (actually, nights when I was home) that I realized just how much I need the internet...lol.
The dogs are loving their new land and Hector (the goat) has lost his mind...literally. His first night here, he was without his dog house (yes, Hector has a dog house). The next day we brought his house and he jumped in the back of the truck and went in his house....lol. We had to pick the dog house up out of the truck with him inside of it...it was so funny!!! He missed his 'little house on the prairie'..lol.
I will post pics as soon as I get the time. It's wonderful here, but the drive in to work is awful...lol. Its nice to be able to look out my windows and only see one house though.
One of our cats caught her first mouse! She killed it but didn't eat it. We had seen 2 mice here (the house had been empty for 2 months so they thought they had run of the mill here...lol).
Anyway, thanks to everyone for keeping The Furum going. I feel like I've been away for 6 weeks...lol. The mods had a few incidents they had to deal with, and they did great!!! I'm so proud of them and couldn't ask for a more fair set of moderators for this place.
Thank you all for sharing your warm wishes for Scout1. I am familiar with car accidents (as many of you are) and they can devastate a family. This doesn't just affect her, it affects her entire family and its nice to see that the games have stopped and the real human emotion is coming out. Let's continue to wish her a full and fast recovery.
I look forward to chatting with you all again soon!
YEAH Ansy! It sounds like things are going well and you love your house. I would love your goat. When I was younger my youth leader at church had a farm with horses and pygmy goats. I loved the goats!

I haved always lived out "in the country" yet close to town...if that makes sense, but living in the house with housed all around me, makes me crazy. Gotta kkep your voice down in the backyard so every person in this hick town doesn't know your life story!! lol Feel like I am being watched all the time. Yeck, I can't wait to be back out with a few acres. Live like that all my life. Funny, my brother moved in with he fiance and she bought a new house in a nice neighborhood and he is just as miserable as I am with the "neighbor" thingy! lol
