Yesterday at the adoption faire I vollenteer at there was about 5 pups that got adopted, also an 8 month old dachsie-terrier mix that was found in a storm drain. She was a sweetie. She was well liked, quite a few people filled out applications for her. The last one was upset because she worried she might not be approved, Upset as in teary eyed not raving lunitic. she went to her car and then the people in cahrge went running out after. That is all anyone would want for a pet to be loved so much it would move them to tear. They gave her a trial with little Bunny. I think its a match made in heaven, they looked so sweet together.
also the sweet green eyed pit bulldog mix. He was adorable!!!!!!!!! I usually steer straight to the little white or cream doggies like Bunny but he was jsut so stinkin cute. His picture on their site does no justice for him. He got lots of applicants too. Its so fun for me to see these guys get homes. 4 more pups left from a litter of 12 lab, shepard mixes left whew that was alot.
Thats the green eyed boy I mentioned. He's a sweetie. I was drawn to him and I'm a poodle person, LOL I don't feel like I do much, but just help were I can, answer question for people. Walk dogs.
Lots of gorgeous dogs you guys have for adoption there! I imagine the work is extremely rewarding and maybe somewhat emotionally draining at the same time. Good job spending your free time to help these guys!
i'm glad i dont live in your area. i would have ended up with a boxer pup ! that little pup they call "echo" is beyond cute . hopefully that little doll found a home. it would be so rewarding to see all them dogs getting adopted and finding homes.i would have been a blubbering mess all day .i even bawl when there are happy endings. lol
Sometimes they don't have all the dogs at the site, I did see Echo, he was waiting for his new owner. All the other boxer pups were either already adopted or at another site. I forgot to ask where they were, cause I did see them on their site. I was so happy for the gal that got Bunny. It was so sweet. LOL Maverick is actually a boxer sharpei mix I believe. I could not see it at first, but do now. He is a big softy. I thought he was pit. They also have a red spuds mackenzie pit mix gal named Carolina. She likes to give you her paw. Not all of their dogs are on their site. Somebody came in with two poor little rats. One may have a stroke. She is skinny, I hope she survives. I held the other too. I forgot how sharp those claws are.
